I love the idea of this app, but after some testing I must point out that it is still not ready for prime time.
First, I uploaded a three-page file, and it took more than three hours to process. I understand they might have a lot of requests right now, but this is the app's whole purpose, and they should have adapted the infrastructure to cope with demand.
Then I connected my Google Drive, and because of the way it is integrated it was really difficult for me to find the folder I wanted to link. When you connect Google Drive, the file/folder selector shows a list view and displays only six items at a time 😅. To explore more, you have to scroll down and wait for the rest of the files and folders to load. Quite cumbersome.
After a few minutes, I realized that the Google Drive folder I was linking contained too many files that I did not need to add to RecordsKeeper. I went to Connected Cloud Storages and tried to deactivate it with the toggle, but the toggle didn't work. I then tried to remove the connection, but you have to deactivate it first, and—as I said—I couldn't.
So, I had to stand there and watch as the Google Drive connection consumed almost all of my 3 GB of available storage 😅 Not good.
Alright. After a couple of days, all the files were processed and I was ready to go. I used the search function and found the file I wanted quite easily, but strangely enough I couldn't find any way to chat only with that specific file. You can search with AI and chat with AI using all your documents, but I did not find a way to chat with a single document after finding it with AI. I might have missed it, but my frustration is so great that I won't give it more time.

So far, I love recordkeeper.ai. One of my favorite features is the automatic placement file. I just upload a file with a descriptive title—usually the document's existing title—and the app sorts it automatically.
At first, I was overwhelmed by the amount of premade files categories names but I found a quick fix in the settings. On the mobile version, if you go to settings and then select "hide files on use," it highlights the files you’re actively using. This helps if you want to hide unused files or keep your commonly used ones front and center.
I also tried the AI feature to scan my files. I used it to pull up all my tax documents, and it worked well. Once I add more files, I plan to try more specific prompts to see how it performs. For basic, general prompts, it already does a good job. I’m also curious to see how it handles more data in the future.
A question for the developers: I just bought the basic package to try it out, and I see myself using this for a long time. However, I think I’ll need more storage. If I buy another regular code, will the storage stack? Is there a way to purchase additional storage? Please let me know.

I think this is a great idea, but no way is it ready for launch. I really need a product like this, but this is not the one! I selected an EU Data centre for storage but the system defaulted back to a US Data centre so I am not GDPR compliant. The processing is so slow that I am not able to retrieve documents to view them. Due to the storage of my data in the US against my wishes, I am trying to delete all my documents, but it is impossible to tell if I have succeeded. I have backed a number of AppSumo launched storage apps over the years that didn't deliver on the promises and do not have the time to provide beta testing this time around.

and I can confidently say—it truly feels like a dream come true. It's a genuine document management system packed with all the essential features you’d expect—plus even more. Now, with the power of AI and support for my language (and probably yours, too!), it’s taken things to the next level.
The only downside I’ve noticed so far is the storage limitation. While I understand this decision from a sustainability standpoint, it’s still something to be aware of.
Initially, I purchased Tier 1, but I’ve since upgraded to Tier 3, as that’s the first level that allows data export. I’m already considering moving up to Tier 5 next month.
One issue I have experienced is some slowness during document uploads. It takes time for the system to process and assimilate the files. However, since I’ve been uploading documents selectively, it hasn't been a major inconvenience. It might be due to a surge in new users uploading their files—who knows? I’ll let the developers look into that.
Overall, this is a highly sophisticated and advanced service. It’s one of those rare lifetime deals where you immediately recognize that it stands out from typical SaaS solutions. The system is exceptionally well-organized, packed with powerful features and tools, and it’s already proving extremely useful for my needs.
