This AI product could never produce videos with consistent character images. It's a good thing I tried it early and found that it was not ready before the refund date.

Reelcraft is definitely a tool to consider if you want to create AI videos. While you do have to be patient with occasional kinks and errors, I don't think any other tool provides as much value (once you learn how to work around the limitations) and allows you to create AI videos so easily.

After using it for over a year, I've seen tons of updates while still using very few credits compared to other tools on the market. Yes, they recently made it more expensive to generate videos, but that's to be expected. It's simply not feasible for them to operate without generating revenue, and I'd rather a company I support be around for the long term than close up shop because they couldn't keep up with costs.

They did, however, change back the credit utilization. Now it's 25/50 credits (depending on type of video) for the first two and a half minutes and 25/50 credits for every minute after that.

They're always improving their system and providing value and upgrades, plus the team listens to feedback.

As for the features themselves, they are continuously being updated, with Haiper integration, the Flux models, and the Studio section, which is constantly expanding its toolset.

The text-to-speech feature alone is incredibly valuable. You can literally cancel your Eleven Labs subscription, and the credit utilization for this feature is incredibly cheap.

So yeah, if you can be patient with the updates and occasional bugs, Reelcraft can definitely be a powerful tool for creating AI videos.

Tried three separate video ideas and used my script, the program-created script, and other various features, but while a fantastic idea, I feel very let down.

One video had a mix of different types of images, from almost photorealistic to animated and then cartoony. Very bizarre not to have consistency.

Not able to understand humor, I guess. I gave it a sarcastic script, and it gave me a very dry insurance seminar-type output.

Music options that are stock are limited.

Voice cloning instructiosn are limited and I had to search for how to do it instead of just having an icon to click on that says Voice Clone.

Overall, I may play with it a bit more but most of my hope faded so far...

I'm not one of those who do reviews, but I have to do it to prevent other people from being scammed...

I made the purchase on Jul 15, 2024 (TIER 3)...I am an old customer...LOL if old is half a year...I don't want to know what will happen in a year xD

"About the product"
1. The credits are now worth less (previously 50 credits for 5 minutes, now 50 credits for 1 minute, it's an incredible reduction in terms of credits, do your calculations)
2. It has placed a new model "HD HAPIER" separating the credits (gold credits)

The company will mention that it is because of its growth, that because of the costs (it even shared its invoice of the costs in an email), this speaks of the poor financial management and poor projection of costs, income that the company had from the beginning (its poor estimates and projections ended : harming the customers who bought the project, and now the easiest thing is to lower the features initially offered).

3. I'm not even complaining about the quality of the images and videos generated...which if compared to other reelcraft on the market is very low (but this is fine, I knew before buying that this was the case, but that in the future this would improve)
4. I just created (December 7, 2024) a video and I still can't manage to maintain the character's characteristics throughout the video (25 seconds, you already know how complicated it will be in videos of 1 minute or more)
5. the studio its ok (but the quality is very bad, you can get better quality images generated by free services on the Internet, and also much faster.)

I regret not having returned the product at the time.

What to expect in the future?
More of the same, new AI models will continue to come out, and due to "costs" users will be demoted. The company has lost all customer confidence, read other comments (especially the old ones)

I find it unfortunate that my honest review was not published back then for some reason. I was one of the first to purchase the product on AppSumo because I was really excited about it. However, when trying it out, I quickly realized that the app wasn't ready. Some results were so different and especially disappointing that my excitement was taken away. Additionally, my review was filtered out, and that's truly sad. The idea is great, but not yet fully developed. Maybe in a few months, but unfortunately not at the moment.
