Impressive Results - Some Improvement Suggestions
I really like how fast and accurate that Reelify works on my M4 Mac mini with M4 Pro chip. The AI enhancements and video clipping and captioning speed are fantastic. I am using the Pro Cations Engine for best accuracy and am very impressed.
I bought the Tier 2 Plan with support for 3 Macs. Is there are an easy way to change Mac computer licenses, such as a Deactivate License option in Reelify, if I ever sell one of my Macs or need to switch my license to another Mac?
Also, is there any way to have an option save a separate Captions .SRT file with video captions and timing when you export the video, so that I may upload the captions to YouTube with the timing for the captions can be easily displayed along with the YouTube video? Having a .SRT file export save option would be a real advantage, and keep from having to upload the created video clip through a transcription service or app to create the associated .SRT captions timing file. I look forward to being able to select the option to export along with the video clip an option to Save .SRT captions files for use by external video editors or by YouTube. That save .SRT file option would really improve Reelify immensely!

May 27, 2026Thank you for the detailed review - really glad Reelify is working well for you, especially with Pro Captions.
On license switching: yes, you can move your license to another Mac if you sell or replace one of your current devices. Right now, just email us at [email protected] and we can reset or move the activation from our side. A self-serve “Deactivate License” option inside Reelify makes complete sense, and we’ll work on adding that so users can manage device changes more easily.
On .SRT export: yes, this is a very good suggestion.
Right now, Reelify can already download the transcript for the full source video, but we don’t yet export a separate .SRT file for each finished clip.
The good news is that this should be fairly quick for us to add because Reelify already generates timed captions internally. We’ve noted this clearly, and we’ll work on adding clip-level .SRT export in one of the next updates.
Thanks again for the thoughtful review. You’ve explained two very practical workflow gaps, and both are now clearly on our list to improve.
