Q: Fabric alternative?
How does it compare to fabric and what type of files can we add? Is there a size limit or is it just a local database? In this case how does it sync between desktop and laptop and phone?

Mar 24, 2026A: Fabric requires you to feed it data manually for each task. remio automatically builds your context by silently indexing your web browsing, emails, and Slack messages. We provide the "brain" that already knows your data before you even ask.
remio supports main file types—PDFs, Office docs, web clips, and even meeting transcripts. There is no size limit because it’s a local-first database; the only limit is your disk space.
Multi-device sync is currently under development and will feature full end-to-end encryption.
I am curious to know how it compares to Fabric as well
The main difference is automated incremental data capture.
