I do appreciate the local storage for privacy but would also like to know if it integrate cloud storage and if so how much storage will we have?
Will it be able to sync with google drive to backup local data?
Is there a limit to the amount of pdfs it can talk to at once and use with ai chat?
Is it clear how much actions will cost us when using BYOK before submitting query?
Will it be able to read epubs?

Mar 24, 2026A: 1. Cloud Storage: Not supported yet, but it's on our roadmap.
2. Backup & Sync: We're actively building end-to-end encrypted multi-device sync, which will allow you to back up your data securely.
3. PDF Limit: No hard limit on how many PDFs you can chat with at once, but each model has a fixed context window ,so the more pages and content, the more it affects what fits in a single conversation.
4. Token Cost Transparency: remio uses on-device RAG, so only the most relevant passages from your documents are retrieved, not the entire file - which helps save tokens. That said, the exact token usage isn't shown before you submit a query, so there's no pre-query cost estimate at the moment.
5. ePub Support — Not supported yet, but you can convert ePubs to PDF as a workaround for now.
