5 Tacos after 5 Minutes and many CONs
The concept is so brilliant, so lovable, so nice, so easy-to-use (for the participants) and so innovative, I directly fell in love with it and give 5 Tacos. But neverthenless, there are many CON, so be aware if you are willing to go with it.
My thoughts: The platform looks like a very early stage with just 3 people working on it. This leaves a terrible usability (from the admins point of view) and many lacking features. I am sure this software will not stay in this nieche and it this state. It has the potential to grow quick and big, just because the concept is so great, or it could burn down like a rocket exploding after the start. I will go in fully as it is totally unique and I see LOTS of potential. But anyway, here are the cons:
1. Terrible usability for the admin
2. Terrible intransparent limits (200 free guest-minutes per team member? Why not just "x free guest-minutes"?)
3. No connection like Zapier, Pabbly, Integrately, Syncspider
4. Very few apps
5. No translations, no change of wordings, nothing of this kind.
6. No Social Login (FB, YT,...)
7. No recording, no RTMP, no Stream out, nothing of this kind.
This list could continue endless and if you expect a "polished" software this is the absolute wrong thing for you. But well, once again: The concept is so brilliant, so nice, so inviting, I stack max and hope for a bright future!
The onliest thing that really annoys me is the "free guest minutes" Limit.
It´s not transparent (200 minutes per team-member and no place to see how many are left for the month), it is also not enough for inviting customers or participants. On the other hand, team-members have free unlimited minutes. That brings up a direction that I don´t like: Unlimited internal meetings and very limited possibilities to invite someone for "just one event".
To make it transparent:
You have absolutely no streaming-limit for team-members, so if you add your guests as team-members you will not face any limits. But if you invite them without being a team-member you have no limits. But unfortunatelly, without zapier/pabbly/... you can´t automatically add somebody as "team-member" and delete him after the event. That´s weired.
I would prefer something like "maximum 10/50/200/x participants per event" without limiting minutes or anything like that. The difference between "team" and "guest" could be the team-member has always access to the rooms and the "guest" needs a "link to the room". Limiting the number of participants, not matter if "team" or "gutest" is much clearer then with this "minute-counting".
That´s it for now, thanks for that software!
All the best, Julian!

May 9, 2024Hey! Thank you for the feedback and liking the tool :)
I do understand your skepticism behind a 3-member team running this but we've strong tech backgrounds. In fact, we met at VWO, which is a global ab testing platform. Just to give you an idea, we launched sometime early next year, and we've been able to build stable product used for 1000s of people.
1. Terrible usability for the admin
You can change admin roles in the app and it's applied in real-time. We are bringing more controls to add/delete users as well.
2. Terrible intransparent limits (200 free guest-minutes per team member? Why not just "x free guest-minutes"?)
We termed it in a way that is confusing. The base plan has 1000 guest minutes. The top one has 30k.
3. No connection like Zapier, Pabbly, Integrately, Syncspider
On our roadmap.
4. Very few apps
We've given you the ability to embed any web app. That should open up avenues here.
5. No translations, no change of wordings, nothing of this kind.
Gotten this feedback from the community. We're looking to prioritize this.
6. No Social Login (FB, YT,...)
We can see how this would useful for communities. Point noted.
7. No recording, no RTMP, no Stream out, nothing of this kind.
On the roadmap
I hope this helps. Again, thank you for leaving a review with great feedback!
