Farzad here, founder of Respona, the link building and outreach platform that helps you improve your AI visibility and Google rankings by earning high-authority backlinks and brand mentions.

A little about me and where Respona came from: we incubated Respona out of Visme, a previous SaaS company we bootstrapped to eight figures in ARR. We have always been an “earn attention, don’t buy it” team. We acquired customers primarily through organic growth, building up to roughly 1M monthly organic traffic over time.

That experience taught us something important: great SEO and brand growth still comes down to relationships and visibility, and outreach is one of the most powerful ways to get there.

Respona was born out of our own need to bring all the moving parts of outreach under one roof: finding the right opportunities, getting accurate contact data, and sending truly personalized emails at scale without sounding like a robot.

We first launched the platform back in 2019, and we have been improving it nonstop ever since.

We also run a done-for-you brand placement and backlink service, and Respona is the engine behind that operation.

For AppSumo, we are bringing you the DIY side of the house: the software itself, so you can run the same kind of campaigns on your own, with the tools we wish existed when we started.
