I am a horrible reviewer because I am very harsh. Appsumo has removed some of my reviews. So this five taco rating was hard to earn.

Yes, there are some issues. Sometimes a correction does not save. So you do need to double-check before submitting. And for folks in the USA, you need to use the country field for State, and City alone for City State. This software was obviously written in India because we do NOT need dates for education, and a few other items. For example, my LinkedIn profile link does not use linkedin.com/username/ but linkedin.com/jobtitle/. These all get lower scores. But these are minor.

I've used a number of resume writers, and they all have flaws. Resumeup has a few, but they are manageble. AND once you have one resume done and scoring in the 80% range, it's very easy to duplicate and modify. Today I found a strange job that really needed a unique resume. So I dupped one I had in Resumeup, modified it, and saved within 7 minutes. Very good.

What I'd like to see them improve, ...

1) Make dates optional everywhere else but the employment area. Stop lowering our score for that.
2) The AI is a little wonky. Sometimes the suggestions are just off.
3) The autocorrect does not work always. I click to make the change and ... it does not. I've come to accept this.
HOWEVER, the fact that it catches these errors is useful.

Resumeup is so good, I can wait for improvements. Today I made two resumes based off my main resume in under 10 min. Very helpful.
The PREVIEW also works. Some resume writers get this wrong so you have to check the PDF to make sure the page breaks are correct.

Lastly, I love the design templates. Colored templates got hiring managers to notice, and comment, on my resumes when I was using another resume application. The colored designs get noticed so it's helpful to see Resumeup supports them.
