Overall, pretty promising but needs some fine tuning
ResumeUp.AI offered some good suggestions, and a few great ones. Things where I looked at it and loved the changes. But I have one big concern and one lesser.
1. Please don't make stuff up and put it in my resume. Pulling purely random numbers out of thin air about how I "improved something by 60%" is a deal breaker. I can't back that up, and I like my resumes to be factual, so I can back up everything on them. That combined with periodic hallucinations where the AI invents things I did, mean that I really have to go over the output with a fine-toothed comb, then do it again. it's almost more work than writing it myself in some cases.
2. Why can't I import and existing resume from my collection to populate my profile. I have to cut and paste a resume into the system that is supposed to make my resumes more importable. In addition, same question for the Cover Letters section. I have to download my resume from the system to reupload it, or cut and paste it. Why can't I just point it the resume I want to use that is in the tool already?
The ability to tailor a resume to a job description and to make it more ATS friendly are super handy. I can see how powerful ResumeUp.AI will be, once you fix it "making stuff up".

On importing existing resumes: Great point, and this is actually on our roadmap! We want to make it easy to pull in your past resumes and cover letters directly, without the need for copy-paste or downloading/uploading.
