Bought this for fun, figured it won't be any better than the common resume builders on job boards and it isn't, in fairness, but it is better than LinkedIn profile export and the benefit of ResumeUp is that you can take the CV and use it across any job board or direct application with employers so hands down, it wins. Some job boards, like Indeed,allow you to do this but it's very basic, it looks boring and often isn't compatible with direct import to other job boards (I haven't tested ResumeUp with this) but ResumeUp allows lots of customisation, including placement of sections, additional sections not found on job boards, and other features which makes it better than those free tools available.

Genuinely pleased with my impulse purchase.

What would make it better? A share link to your CV to be included on social media or export as HTML or embed options to place it on your website; I can't imagine these will be popular features necessarily but would be great to be able to easily embed in emails (which would be common) and for putting on LinkedIn - my LinkedIn profile is so cluttered, it would be great to condense the key sections into a single ResumeUp link which can be updated in real time so you don't ha e to repeatedly update the Google drive link or similar to the document file you stored somewhere in the cloud.
