RoboForm Questions

I find, hoewever, some cons restricting me from switch. Please clarify:
- it is impossible to add a complete login information from scratch - it always has to be editing something that appeared before, ie during login process. Is that correct?
- Automatic Login to Windows Apps is very poor. I tested two ERP systems - none of them worked. Something specific shloud be done except installing roboform Win App to have it working?
- is there a simple possibility to copy username with one click as it works with passwords in roboform?

you clarify this example (I already read the article you linked earlier and it doesn't go into details on this point) - if I hire a freelancer and add them with "Limited" permissions to, say, some hosting servers, will that freelancer at any time be able to actually SEE the passwords as they log into that hosting server?

I'm not clear on how they will log into a site using RF without seeing the password and being able to copy/paste it somewhere if they chose to. Which would defeat the purpose of using this app for me as I would still need to change passwords when finishing a project with a temporary worker. Thanks.

It used (?) to be that when you go to a website and there is a log in field, roboform would detect the log in-form and if there was a passcard for it - roboform would automatically offer me (through a pop up) to get logged in. In other words: 2 clicks to be logged in - the click on my bookmark in my browser and the next in the roboform pop-up.

Looking at comments and this article on your page https://help.roboform.com/hc/en-us/articles/115005702767-How-to-log-in-to-a-site this is no longer the case (you always have to search one way or the other for the corresponding login) - which is rather inconvenient.

Do you safe that anywhere? Is it technical possible to give access to my passwords to authorities in the US or Europe if forced? Did you give already passwords to authorities?

BTW: @appsumo Actually to change an appsumo password is a pain in the ass. How to change my account details?

RoboForm, can you guys not remove this requirement? C'mon, I have been your biggest fan and now with this deal have already promoted on my social media channels. I have been using RoboForm for almost 10+ years I think and have a license valid till 2024 for RoboForm Everywhere which is for my personal use.

I have my own business for which I would like to buy this deal and I will use my business email address for it.

1. The BIG question is: would I be able to import one or more of my passcards or even the whole dataset into new RoboForm for Business account? I hope so? If so, how?

2. Can we keep both versions, RoboForm Everywhere and RoboForm for Business installed and running at the same time on Desktop as well as mobile devices? I am hoping they are different apps and don't interfere with each other?

Again, the AppSumo community will greatly appreciate if you remove the "New Customer Only" requirement from the deal. Please, let's do this!

Cannot send One-Time Password by SMS to number +xxxxxxxxx. That probably means you provided an invalid phone number. Please fix the mobile phone number you entered.

Are the system support international phone number in every country?

But we'll need a third one. So this deal with a business plan will be the much better solution.

Is each license it's own with own passcards or is it just a shared access for all five team members to one account using all the same passcards and the same settings (user name / master password)?

And is it possible for our current two users, to transfer all existing passcards to the new business account?

For example, let's say I hire a web developer and give them access to a hosting server via Roboform, then when the work is finished, do I need to go and change the password on the hosting account to ensure they no longer have access, or would they have never seen the password to begin with?

Also, will Roboform store passwords for your own small websites like a WordPress login or similar? (I used a similar tool once before but it would only save passwords for big sites like Paypal, Facebook, etc and other things on their list, not for a small ecommerce store where you might create an account to buy something).

Now that this deal includes 5 team members, I think this could work well for me except I originally passed on Roboform because it wasn't as intuitive as LastPass. If I knew that the cash in this deal was going to address some of that it might be worth a shot.

Is it possible to buy 2 deals to get 10 users? Possible?

Or what if 5 users is nice to start with in a large organisation but additional users are required after an amount of time?

I'd have loved to propose this deal to the company I work for (140+ users), but since the deal can't be stacked and there's no information about additional users, I simply can't.

I want try RF4B before buying. So I have question - is trial account still "new account" and can be used for AppSumo deal?

When it suddenly stopped working after a very short period of time, Roboform customer support said they would not honor my “lifetime” purchase because they had gone to a new format, and instead I would be required to purchase it on an annual basis. They offered me a free year of Roboform, the cost of which was far less than I had paid for my “lifetime” license.

Definitely would not recommend this company.

There is NO way in the UI to add a login manually. Even the menu (Roboform-New-New Login) gives me a message that this will happen automatically.

The only way I've found so far, is to clone a working login and manually edit it to match the one I want. Are there any easier way to do this? If not, our company will stay with Dashlane.

But when I was about to buy, realized it has 2 major flaws for me:
1. Roboform doesn't allow to add files to an entry (copy of ID card, passport, bank security codes...)
2. Since some years ago a concurrent software (Safewallet) that also used it's own server to sync between devices, suddenly ended its service I no longer want to risk using a locked system.
So, for now, I'll keep using the free Keepass solution that overcomes those 2 problems and has every feature you could require (either inbuilt or through plugins).

I've had a Roboform personal account for years, it was a one time purchase back then but is now called the free plan . Am I eligible for this deal?

Does each team member in essence have their own account where they can store their own logins that can't be seen/accessed by other team members and/or the admin too? Or is it just a single collection of logins that the admin can decide who has access to which logins?

If each team member has their own account can they then share logins with other team members? Or do they have to be an admin?

I'm just trying to figure how this is different than the Roboform Family plan beyond what just seems like additional sharing controls... Also trying to figure if this could actually replace the Family plan I currently have.
