Q: If I add a freelancer or VA as a user can they actually see the passwords for the accounts they have access to?
For example, let's say I hire a web developer and give them access to a hosting server via Roboform, then when the work is finished, do I need to go and change the password on the hosting account to ensure they no longer have access, or would they have never seen the password to begin with?
Also, will Roboform store passwords for your own small websites like a WordPress login or similar? (I used a similar tool once before but it would only save passwords for big sites like Paypal, Facebook, etc and other things on their list, not for a small ecommerce store where you might create an account to buy something).

May 14, 2024A: Great questions, damioen102. The ability of the frelancer to see data is dictated by usage permission levels set by the account admin. For more information on usage permission, please consult the following article: http://bit.ly/2L5OQdr.
Yes - RoboForm saves passwords for sites no matter their size!

Thanks Kaitlyn, I read that article and it's clarified most things, but I'm still not 100% clear on this example: if I hire a freelancer and add them with "Limited" permissions to, say, some hosting servers, will that freelancer at any time be able to actually SEE the passwords as they log into that hosting server?
I'm not clear on how they will log into a site using RF without seeing the password and being able to copy/paste it somewhere if they chose to. Which would defeat the purpose of using this app for me as I would still need to change passwords when finishing a project with a temporary worker. Thanks.

Hi Kailtin, still waiting for a reply on my follow up question. Also not sure why my question is still awaiting moderation. Thanks.
