Robomotion RPA Reviews

My experience is similar to user RW90, and I agree with their assessment of Robomotion so here's a TLDR (including my occasional usage experience).

Superiority: Like RW90, I've tried many RPA tools and found Robomotion to be head and shoulders above the rest for combining browser and desktop automation.

Best for Complex Tasks: It easily handles the hard stuff that others can't, like advanced file manipulation, working with Excel macros, and interacting with password-protected sites.

Learning curve Pays Off: While there is a learning curve, spending time on the Academy and Discord is worth it. Learning Xpath is a game-changer and using an LLM for JavaScript code assistance helps tremendously just as RW90 mentioned.

Operating System: Run it on a local Windows machine for maximum desktop functionality (I have yet to run any cloud operations, so no comment on that from me).

Dev: Their software gets better, better, and better. Thank you Robomotion team!!

My Final Verdict... Robomotion is a smart buy and a valuable tool for those unexpected situations when a true Robotic Process Automation (RPA) is required.

I was able to automate browser tasks, Excel/Word tasks, and scraping, where I usually waste hours on.

Pros -

Low-code flow designer: drag & drop with optional scripting (JS) for advanced logic.

Multi-step flows: you can build workflows that do many internal tasks in one automation project.

Cons -

Not built for absolute beginners - Let me be honest: if you are completely non-technical, you will feel lost in the beginning.

There’s a learning curve.

First-time setup can feel overwhelming - Your first few flows will confuse you.

Anyway, I still hope for a desktop recorder. Some applications cannot be controlled through Windows automation and can only be operated by clicking images. This is still too limiting for me. I bought this hoping it could record applications.

In fact, not all RPA tools have this limit. The another RPA tool I use can operate normally even if it is not standard Windows UI controls.

I recommend Robomotion as a quality tool for RPA (Robotic Process Automation). This is different than regular automation tools that we might be used to, in that it's a bot that you program to control your entire device.

This tool does have a large learning curve, and requires coding knowledge (or at least AI-vibe coding to help you through). They've built in a lot of helpful tutorials and so many tools to support you, and they have a Discord support channel as well.

If you need to automate things that "can't" be automated by traditional APIs and webhooks, and don't like the huge security, hallucination, and privacy risks of AI agents, Robomotion is a great tool to consider using!

Robomotion gives you the reliability of programmatic and deterministic RPA. You can automate almost anything on a device with this!

Robomotion RPA has completely eliminated my daily repetitive tasks. What used to take hours of mindless searching, copying, pasting, clicking, and data entry is now fully automated and finished before I even finish breakfast. The visual flow designer is genuinely intuitive, and everything runs smoothly on Windows.
The community is outstanding: always responsive, packed with helpful templates, and the team truly listens to feedback. Since picking it up on AppSumo, there have been countless upgrades and new features that keep adding real value.
