Best RPA (current features and potential) for the Price!

I was hesitant about purchasing this because of all the references to this being low-code and how people were refunding it because it was too difficult for their needs. I tried the free version available on their website with their templates and… FELL IN LOVE! Yes, there are areas where you have to be able to identify lines of code to look at the variables you want to capture. However, it was not THAT difficult.

Current usage: There are several templates available for use. Here is what I decided to do as my first project. I scraped Google Maps for hotel and motel prices at a certain location. I then scraped a few other sites for the same region. Then, I had the robot merge the lists of the properties if they had the same name. I could have manually sorted my list by price, but I ended up having the bot do that for me. Folks, I can tell you with certainty that some hotel/motel sites offer better deals than others do. With the saving from my upcoming summer trip, I more than paid for a tier 4. Next project, car rentals.

Pros:
Price comparisons: I looked at the competition and quickly realized the limitations of their free tools. Their free tier robots cannot perform many tasks that Robomotion lists.

Support: This is more of a pro and a con. The documentation is good enough to get started, especially when you want to use their templates as a Launchpad. An old soul like me had to figure out what Discord is (yes, the rock I was living under was fine). The negative here is that there are so many things that Robomotion can do. The only thing holding me back is my inexperience and awaiting a thorough explanation through Discord. I learned a lot from reading through the responses. This could easily be turned into a Q & A section on their website had I wanted to scrape discord for all the questions.

Cons:
User interface: Buggy. Setting complex tasks becomes hard to view since the web view does not scale properly. Also, save your work before hitting debug because it will erase any unsaved work. I learned this the hard way.

Documentation: Robomotion has a lot of potential. For an expert programmer, this tool is a Godsend. For novices like me, I will have to wait for an explanation via video or through Discord.

Proxies: You have to throttle your usage or risk getting your IP banned if you perform large tasks on a website. I learned this the hard way when I was scraping Google Maps (oops!). Using proxies in Robomotion is not a built-in feature like the ones I have seen in some RPAs.

Cloud: This LTD does not include any access to cloud computing. Meaning, you need to install your robot on a computer that is capable of performing the tasks that you automated. This is not a dealbreaker unless you do not have a powerful computer readily available to run your intensive tasks. Fortunately, for me, I am slowly replacing my everyday use, so this is a non-issue for me.
