Q: The perks are based on Page Views, not Events, right?

Just wondering because, in my dashboard, it says:

"You are on the AppSumo lifetime plan with up to 2,000,000 events per month."

I remember you initially counted Events but later changed it to Page Views. If so, shouldn't the backend dashboard also be updated to reflect this change? Might be just a wording issue but would probably cause less confusion to have it updated and consistent with the deal terms.

A: The perks have always based on events, but I renamed them to pageviews on AppSumo since too many people were confused about what events means.

There are other event types that aren't pageviews, but 95% of the time people only send pageviews so I figured it's best to name it something people understand. Maybe it's a good idea for me to just rename everything pageviews...

Yeah, honestly I think you should stay true to what Rybbit actually tracks and keep everything as Events, but put a small note or tooltip explaining what an event consists of — i.e. Page Views by default, with the option to enable additional data/metrics. Hence, you call it "Events" and not "PV."

Adding clarity should minimize the confusion and keep everything consistent in your UI and terms.
