Simply the best. Hands down.

We have bought over 4,700 deals on Appsumo and a good portion of those deals are ERP/CRM/Cold Outreach applications.

We have tested through every single feature on all the apps that we have bought (Deskera, Flowlu, Instantly, SendSparks, BreakCold, HexoSparks). Only Breakcold come close to be compared with Sales Prophet. It was a tough 2 weeks battle before we settled on Sales Prophet.

Choosing the right apps is almost like trying to find a soul mate. None are perfect, and the apps either have this or missing that. But overall, Sales Prophet is our favorite hammer of choice for cold outreach. Pleasing interface, built-in data, instant verification are only a few of the features we love. Of course, it could always use improvement. That is a given otherwise the apps loses its innovation edge.

Too many outreach solution lacked the CRM and pipeline feature. Most CRM lacked the marketing feature. This apps is exactly what we need. We are hoping for the direct Inmail message for LinkedIn to be in the Unified Inbox in the near future. It looks like that's on the roadmap.

Lastly, the support is fabulous. We get fast answers to all of our quetions. Shawn has been very patience to many of our newbie questions. We are grateful for that.

Keep up the good work, Sales Prophet! You are simply the best deal in this category. I am so glad Appsumo brought this to Appsumolings.

Really Great Solution for List Building/Validating, Cold Outreach, and CRM Opportunity Tracking

This is a really powerful solution for anyone trying to do honest, value-based outreach at any scale.

I was burned by another Cold Email solution...shut down with my work and never added on the features it promised after years (and super buggy along the way).

Sales Prophet exceeds my expectations. It's exactly what I've been waiting for but didn't know it could be so good.

As a marketing leader in Saas who's trying to build a side digital agency, I bought it for myself, but even see the value of using it at companies that already have an enterprise tech stack (the Account Based email and timed delayed cold email specifically, but maybe even contact sourcing).

I like to use my agency / side hustle for good, not just selling services. Based on my initial impressions, I'm re-energized and excited that this is THE solution that is going to help me further my mission spreading kindness/goodwill.

I wish Sales Prophet a happy and profitable future. Good work team, it's one of my favorite buys of all time.

The team is responsive, with a great chat support solution within the app.

I was able to hook up a Zoho custom domain email and a Sendgrid Email, no issue -- plus, it was easier that many other solutions.

Once I got the hang searching leads and saving lists, I was off to the races.

Before you leave one taco, search for leads with job title keywords AND make sure all required fields are in your CSV import files. Everything works, if you learn what's needed to make it work.

Also test different search approaches. For example, in my scenario, SIC industry name yielded more results than LinkedIn industry.

After building lists, I entered billing info for $.001 data validation -- no issues there either.

And sequences / newsletters are beyond logical. I was so happy I could skip the list part to save the campaigns and come back to that as well.

What I love:
- The potential for Account Based emails to 3 or more targets (super cool)
- Custom fields for contacts, opportunities, and accounts
- Kanban opportunity stage tracking
- Rules for task creation to follow up after engagement (opens, clicks, etc)
- Human-like send delays for email sequences and bulk emails
- A/B/C variations and follow up after no open -- may be better than spintax
- You can map custom fields in import files (limitation of something else I was trying to make work)

Some struggle areas that I can work around:

- In local business, I rarely have a First and Last name, so to get emails to a Business name only, I will have to add some dummy data to those required fields. I found myself wanting to build a "Company" list for outreach where I didn't have to have first/last name required. But each company needs contacts to feed a sequence.

- I do small scale outreach, sometimes I like to attach a PDF when sending one by one or with a large send delay; I won't ask for this feature because I understand it's a potential deliverability issue (but would be super cool when controlled under the right conditions and testing)...I can get around this by making the call to action a reply if you want the flyer

- When i initially created custom fields, I didn't realize they were company level. Very easy to delete and make contact level but it did send me down some sunk time. Well worth it, now that I get the product.

Some ideas I'll be adding to the roadmap:
- More timing control, like 8-11:30 am and 1:30-4:00 pm (skip lunch or known busy hours)
- Company list sequences, no first/last name required
- Add more Kanban opp pipelines for different sales motions
- Link a Google Sheet; added to sequences as new rows added

My experience is with:
- Marketo, Hubspot, Salesforce, and Dynamics 365 (enterprise settings) -- perfect compliment
- Can work like Outreach or SkyLead (without the LinkedIn automation)
- I am also a big fan of other CRM AppSumo LTDs but none had mastered the email outreach piece and the data sourcing like this. They may only have a place in my workflow after I have a customer, but Sales Prophet seems to easily handle all my prospecting needs.

(Optional) Curious for Agency Use Cases:
- How do you see people monetizing it? I definitely see the value in partitioning separate business ventures but what else should I be considering?
- "Selling Simple" -- a hands off offering might be just offering it as a Saas solution bundled with other services for clients? They manage themselves.
- "Done for you" -- what are other agencies doing, offering done for you cold outreach services?
- What are retail value price ranges for solutions/services like this?

Just curious to hear a point of view on how it's best monetized if you wish to elaborate. No worries if not.

Great tool - Amazing Support

Recently started working with Sales Prophet, and as a relative newcomer to the processes of cold email, it has been a true eye-opener. The team at Sales Prophet has been immensely helpful, and I can't emphasize enough how great their Customer Service has been, and how helpful and informative they have been through the process of getting things setup. The tool itself is intuitive and easy to grasp, and the interface is well designed to maximize your ability to get things done. There are some small areas that they are working to improve, and already have seen one platform update since starting with the tool only in this week - so, they are definitely taking their ongoing development and improvement seriously.

It's a great tool, and surely for those who have more experience in this are of marketing, I'm certain it will be immensely useful, and already for me as a newcomer it is looking to be incredibly powerful, and super useful in our business development efforts. Combining that with the helpful, informative Customer Service - this is a 5 Taco product, with a Million Taco Service team!!!!

Great stuff, and looking to full stack this offer!

Hopefully the start of something good

First, a disclaimer. I purchased Sales Prophet to leverage its 78M B2B contacts; I have other solutions already in place for email so this review reflects *only* the business information and corresponding search capabilities.

As a user of several business-to-business search tools, I find that they all have their sweet spots as they obtain their information in different ways. As a result, there's a lot of benefit to layer my searches as it's rare to see contact information regularly replicated across platforms. That is just as true for Sales Prophet as it is with every other research system I've used so I think it's worthy of your consideration.

Still, let me lay out my pros and cons after having used the tool pretty regularly for the past month-plus.

= PROS =
+ The overall design is attractive (though it could use some refinement - see the con below)
+ When I find matches, they are generally unique and do not overlap with other systems
+ There's a wealth of information in the results window (though, again, there's a corresponding con below)
+ While I don't use/need it, I do appreciate the simplicity of an all-in-one solution of being able to go right from search to campaign

= CONS =
- The search interface has UX elements that could be handled more consistently and laid out more logically. One example - there's an option to type in NAICS industry codes, but the comparable SIC codes are accessed in an entirely different "section" further down the screen, and you have to use a drill-down list to select them
- The results window is frustrating to navigate. You have to scroll in the browser to the bottom of the page to find the horizontal scroll bar for the results window. After scrolling it to the right moving, you then scroll back up in the browser to see the record you are interested in
- There's a bug where, after a few searches, the previous search results continue to appear in the results window
- Support has been hit-and-miss for me. The bug mentioned above got a quick response and email of whom to contact. That person offered a workaround in less than a day, but it didn't work. And, ever since, they stopped communicating/responding
- There's no easy way to copy search results out of the system. You either have to hover and manually type it yourself, or partially start a campaign for each search result and extract them that way

None of these are show stoppers but seem more like early version issues that will hopefully be refined and addressed as the platform matures.

Frankly, my biggest concern is that SP finds the fewest matches in any of my B2B searches. Maybe I'm searching in an industry that they don't cover well, but Sales Prophet turning someone up is more the exception than the rule (and I'm comparing the results against 5 other tools).

I've debated whether to refund the purchase as the value of Sales Prophet - for me at least - isn't quite there yet. Still, I like the direction they're heading and I'm going to hang in there as a vote of support in the hopes that they continue to invest and develop the system.

Thanks for the feedback Cspainer.
My focus at the moment is to improve the database and search capabilities.
Most of these (if not all) are covered in your feedback.

We, too, use several database solutions, and I rarely find Naics codes at all, so it was nice that the data coop provided this info. (It was more of an addon)

I also like the keyword search we added for SIC codes. This is very handy...
