I'm confused... the service seems to be sold first and foremost that you can ask questions of AI and get insights/answers, but then Tier 1 & Tier 2 say that AI Analytics aren't included. Does that mean I can't ask questions and get answers for Tier 1 & 2?

Not strictly true, I've bought other solutions (such as Greta - Tier 1) that include lifetime AI access. I'm just failing to see what I can do with Scoop Analytics which is described as "Chat with your business data in plain English to uncover deep insights and make smarter decisions" if I can't chat with it to uncover deep insights and make smarter decisions on Tiers 1 & 2
So tier 3 has 50 queries for LIFE you are bound to it for life. Can you afford to do that; If so why can't you offer that at lower tiers 1 query and then the cost for additional queries. What is the cost for additional queries at Tier 3. I think you need to think this through a bit more. And leading with the Talk to your data with AI and not include that in tiers 1 and 2 is not honest.

Scoop is a full BI platform that includes both Visualization AND the data platform beneath it with data prep, integration with Google Sheets, Slide creation, themes, presentation sharing, tons of features (our documentation of the full platform is extensive). None of that requires AI. We didn't think fewer queries would be as useful, but we are gathering feedback.
I think they are here to take your money, thats it.
