It has issues but it could be a gem. (tier 3 review)
5 tacos because I’m rooting for this.
The Good: The founders seem overqualified for building an enterprise-grade BI tool, which is exactly why I bought tier 3 even when there were no reviews. If the team executes well, this could turn into a real gem — anyone who’s worked with big data will see the potential. Success will ultimately depend on how closely they engage with users, how quickly they iterate based on feedback, and how well they adapt the product to customer needs. (Key note: It’s true, Sumo-lings have high expectations — but they’re not unreasonable.)
The Bad: The backend looks strong, but the UI/UX needs refinement. For example, I couldn’t figure out how to create an AI presentation, and when I logged in, the “Data Science Studio” and “Process Analysis” tabs under “Insights (beta)” were missing. I’ve emailed support to check whether this is a simple learning curve issue or if these features aren’t actually included in the deal. If it’s the latter, I’d probably have to refund.
Overall: I’m giving this 5 tacos because I want this product to succeed. I may update this review later, but for now, I’m hopeful the team will polish things up and turn this into the enterprise-grade tool it has the potential to be.
Hi thank you! We appreciate it. We haven't released the Data Science Studio or the Process Analysis as part of the AppSumo release at this point. These are high end features and this is our first time with AppSumo so we are taking feedback. Would love to get some insight on use case as perhaps we can make these available, but we had guidance that maybe these didn't make sense. Feel free to message...
Nothing worked for me. I had connected both Google Analytics and Google Ads, but kept getting some red error message saying "I didn’t have permission". The Slack integration also failed. I gave up after a while and requested a refund.
Hi Mark, can we jump on with you? We just published a video on how to do Google Analytics yesterday. We can also see what's happening for you with Slack. We have many people using it now. Send me a note at brad@scoopanalytics.com. But here's a video we just put up on GoogleAnalytics for example - check it out - it shows how to do this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T6df_g4EleM
