Exactly what my team needed! Great product!
Scoop Analytics is powerful. While there may be some disappointment about the limits, it still remains a powerhouse. Great alternative to similar platforms. I've been on the fence for a while until I saw some other technical people/engineers speak on their experience. I am glad I purchased it!
While everyone is entitled to their own views, I find it very frustrating that non-technical people to bash products due to lack of knowledge and technical experience. Leaving bad reviews halts people from buying what they may need.
Great job, Scoop team! I'm looking forward to seeing this continue to mature!

Very powerful with a bit of a learning curve. Seeing continuous improvement
Since I've purchased, Scoop has been continuously improving. Developer is responsive and taking feedback to build an even better product. This software is a bit of a sleeper on Appsumo.

Couldn't get it to work. Couldn't get any help
I bought Scoop thinking it would be a fantastic way to link up to Attio. It failed to connect and I've had no response from the provider. Shame, because the UI looks great - but you can't judge an app by its looks alone

Nov 1, 2025The Attio connector has some issues on the Attio api side. We are working with them to resolve.

Couldn't get it to work
During onboarding, I uploaded a small CSV file (under 1 MB) in a clean tabular format. It failed after some time for no clear reason. Then I tried connecting Google Sheets, but got an authentication error. When I uploaded the CSV again, it showed the data processing indication. Once it hit 100%, I got this error: “Failed to create canvas. Please try again.”
Nope, I’m not trying again 😅

Good on paper, not so good in practice.
FINAL REVIEW BEFORE REFUNDING
I tried this multiple times.
Booked a session with Kevin Hubert to sort it out - he didn't even bother to show up.
In the end, in my final attempt, Scoop couldn't even ingest a five-row, totally clean CSV file. Like every other upload, it just sat there at 0.00% progress (100% ingestion error).
Half the help docs lead to 404 errors. Without any competition, the biggest waste of time on AppSumo in over a decade. I genuinely can't believe this was allowed to list..
UPDATE AFTER THREE WEEKS (ATTEMPTED) USE
The reality of Scoop as it stands is this is a very, very, very early prototype.
The Google Analytics integration hasn't been pulling data across for at least two weeks and, of that it does, the discrepancies between what's in GA and what's imported are worringly significant.
The canvas functionality is unusable, creating poorly formatted slide decks with mostly irrelevant and inaccurate insights.
I've been back and forth with support - Brad flick passed me to a developer after a single, incomplete response - who is trying to help, but whose requests for screenshots and recordings indicate he may be as lost as I am.
Bottom line; this is an interesting concept, but not yet close to being a workable product.

TIER 3 REVIEW AFTER 3 DAYS USE
I suspect this is a review I will update over the next few weeks, but here’s the lowdown as it stands.
On paper, this is a fantastic proposition. Data analytics + LLM has been on my radar for some weeks now, but my attempts to build something myself were taking too long. This seemed to tick all the boxes and the team behind it seem to have all the quals.
As has been stated, even at Tier 3 the quotas are restrictive. 50 workspaces/ canvases sounds generous until your realise that with only 5 data sources in total the likelihood of being able to use this as an Agency tool are little to none. 50 AI requests a month - not even two a day - make this less of conversation with AI and more of an exercise in brevity. This solution badly needs BYOK otherwise the quotas just aren’t going to work.
My own experience in using the platform left me with the impression that it’s a very early MVP. Setting up a Google Analytics connection resulted in at first nothing then error messages. Uploading a csv file yields a better result but the output was questionable and there is no way I’d consider presenting this to anyone without a lot of fact checking and review.
The slide editor is clunky to say the least and feels like something from ten years ago. It took me a good few attempt before working out how to export to Google Slides - it’s far from intuitive.
I couldn’t find a support email or chat function anywhere - instead it’s delivered via readme threads that are EXTREMELY buggy. Three days later I’m still waiting for a response.
In short, this has potential on paper but has a long way to go. At this stage it’s a likely refund but I’m crossing my fingers that the next 55 days will turn things around.

Oct 13, 2025Hey guys, BYOK is coming in a couple of days. And along with that we will be opening up data science studio as well. We are also considering opening up process analysis, however that requires multiple snapshots of data. We are looking at expanding the number of data sources for tier 3 as well. But stay tuned for BYOK shortly.
