Q: is a setting for audio only recording and editing on the roadmap?
I’m currently using it by changing it afterward, but it’s an extra hassle that could have been avoided by setting it as a default. Also is it possible to begin a new recording before the first one finishes exporting?

A: Only audio recording is not in our roadmap, but please share your workflow on our email hi@smartspreadsheet.co so we can implement and release in the next update.
When I edit a video right after recording and try to export, hitting the big blue export button, it still exports the original capture without any of the cuts or adjustments I made. It feels like I can’t export just the part and selections I selected in the editor.
Just as an basic example, I do a screencapture and it's 10 minutes long, and then afterwards I cut the first two minutes of the video...

A: Hi, thanks for writing this up so clearly, and sorry you hit it.
You weren't missing a step and you weren't doing anything wrong. This was a real bug in Screen Bolt, and your description of it was exactly right: the editor showed you the eight minute video, but the export still wrote out all ten.
What was happening: when your project was a single clip, the export was reading your original...
Thank you for the quick reply and fix! Please also check sound! At least in my experience, and the few test I did in that version ( 1.11.3 (24) ) the recorded sound was "not clean/ clear". Had some "cracks" every once in a while. A bit like an old vinyl record. That is the best I can explain in words. In previous versions the sound was fine. Thank you!
Is it on the roadmap to be similar to loom where the software can host the videos or will it always be a hard copy video? IF hard copy whats the best hosting for doing tutorials?

A: Screenbolt is an offline app, we don't support video hosting and will always be a hardcopy video.
Our users and myself use google drive to host the videos.

We were working on making the sounds more clean. In the new release this should fixed.
