Does this new system renew every month, or is this a flat 5000page crawl limit per project?
This whole thing comes across as a really shady move on your previous purchasers who bought one thing and are now getting a nerfed application and plan. Sad.

No, there is nothing suspicious or unusual about this.
The previous credit-based system has simply been replaced with a 5,000-page limit. There is no need for this limit to reset monthly because it is not a monthly credit allowance and does not get consumed in the same way.
You can add any project as long as the website has fewer than 5,000 pages. You can also start an analysis whenever you want, as frequently as you need, or set up automatic analyses at your preferred frequency.
The only limitation is that the website you add must have fewer than 5,000 pages.
