Needs more work but could be great!

Needs a lot of improving. I used it for two transcriptions that ended up looking a mess. I think over time the developers will continue to improve this. The one time price that it has currently is okay if you are happy to wait for the apps improvements. Please improve accuracy! I isn't of much value to be atm but hopefully that changes ver soon.

On the bright side it is easy to use. So a very simple tool. Developers seem to be actively improving which is great! Don't stop improving this and one day it could be an amazing tool for many businesses. I plan on using this for content marketing etc

This is a very good dea!!

So, I had been looking at this deal since it was first launched and was a little afraid because of the initial reviews. However, the reviews AFTER they announced the "MAJOR" update were enough to convince me to go for a full-stack.

Honestly, I did previously buy codes for the HappyScribe deal, but the roadmap for Scribbbe is way more exciting than HappyScribe's, and the Dollar-to-Hours value is way better for Scribbbe.

Other than the great deal, my favorite feature is the ability to preview the audio with the transcription alongside. This saves so much time in trying to set this up locally. You can adjust the mistakes as you are going through.

I'll be using Scribbbe for transcribing training videos prior to posting them for courses.

I didn't want to miss this opportunity and you should not let it get away. Since the original offer is over, it's worth an AppSumo PLUS membership just to get this deal, plus you will save a little money as well.

Not as good as Otter, but... good enough

So, I bought this because of the functionality and the type of work I do (mostly copy and coaching).

While I use Otter (and love it), I'm also not a fan of PAYING for subscription if and when I can avoid it, lol.

Bought this because life time deal, however, I find although useful, it's not as intuitive to use as Otter and still has a very Beta feel to it.

Hoping it gets better, but at the end of the day it does do what it promises on the box cover.

Fingers crossed it continues to get better.

BTW, no users guides and trying to edit is a bit of a pain in the A$$.

Hope they fix this but dig the initial effort and appreciate the value for the investment.

I was in doubt, but not anymore.

I bought three codes of this deal about a month ago. I was hesitant to recommend it at the time, but that has changed with the recent "Major Update".

Until this week, I used the free 300 minutes per month that Microsoft supplies with an Office 365 subscription. That feature is incredibly fast (< 1 minute for 15 minutes of audio), and the quality of the transcription is amazing. Therefore it was difficult to compare and wholeheartedly recommend a service like Scribbbe.

The quality of the transcription is very good. Not perfect, out there with other very good AI services. Earlier this month, the interface was too simple to be effective, and the text would be outputted in a single block, even with interpunction on. This would make editing the text (something that I always do also in Word) a big job. What's more, it made it difficult to judge where the development is heading.

However, this weekend the team from Scribbbe send me an email telling me about the new "Major update". The interface is miles ahead of where it was earlier this month. Still very minimalist, but it works for me. Text is no longer parsed into one big block but neatly into paragraphs along with Timecode and Speaker information. I can immediately edit my text in the browser with my favourite Grammar checker. Also, I can export the edited text in a bunch of formats, including various captioning formats. And the time, it took to transcribe my 15 minute file, was brought back to "only" 7 minutes. Still longer than Microsoft but very workable.

But perhaps the most important part of this update is that the team demonstrated that they have the capacity and momentum to develop the tool into something that I will use on a daily basis.

So I've decided to keep all my codes and am excited to see where this project is going.

Only 5-10% makes sense

Hi Joachim,

Hope you can read this. I hardly give such a negative rating. But I have to say that Scribbbe is totally unusable at this stage. The transcriptions are completely off. Even youtube's transcriptions are more accurate than Scribbbe.

On your website is says 95% accuracy, but it's really not true with the recent transcription I just did for my meeting. My staff wanted to manually transcribe a meeting of ours and I told her I have a Scribbbe and she uploaded the audio file and got a whole lump of text that doesn't make sense at all. My staff is a Filipino lady and having a meeting with an Indian man. It seems that accent is definitely not identifiable by Scribbbe right now because sentences from the Indian man is 100% off right now.

I really want to keep this deal, I have 4 codes stacked. I can't use it at Scribbbe at this point. When would would we be able to see at least 75-80% accuracy? With 95% of errors, it is just way faster by manually transcribing than using scribbbe at all.
