Total mess that wasted over 2 hours
Started of really well. Spent over 2 hours tweaking the CSS to get everything to look exactly how I want and native to my website design. It looked amazing, total redesign effectively.
Then poof, it decided to delete all the custom CSS I had put in.
Absolutely fuming at this and cannot recommend it at all.

Apr 24, 2026Hi, SearchIQ checks for the searched term in the title, body text, tags, categories, custom fields, product attributes, and taxonomies, and not in the page URL.
Can you please email us the page URLs for which you observed this issue? We will check it on your site.

Still using it after six months, but the analytics need work
I've been using SearchIQ for about six months and it remains one of the better AppSumo purchases I've made.
I originally bought it because site search data is one of the clearest signals of visitor intent. I wanted to know what people were searching for, which searches produced no results, and what content visitors were struggling to find. While some of this can be implemented in Google Analytics, it typically requires custom setup and ongoing maintenance.
SearchIQ makes that much easier. Installation is straightforward, the search experience is noticeably better than default WordPress search, and the analytics surface exactly the signals I was looking for.
The biggest benefit for me has been understanding what visitors are actually looking for in their own words. That kind of insight helps identify content gaps and opportunities that would otherwise be easy to miss.
The analytics do have real limitations though. They need longer data retention, better historical reporting, and internal traffic filtering. I flagged the last one to the team six months ago and it has not been implemented yet, which also raises questions about the pace of active development.
Strong value at $39 lifetime. The search experience is already excellent. The analytics just need to catch up. I cover all of this in more detail, including a full feature comparison and six months of hands-on findings, in my complete review at https://marketingwithdave.com/searchiq-review/

Rahul is a pest and he kept emailing me about my Appsumo redemption
Bad experience dealing with support!

Jul 4, 2025Hi Anand, I don't think there is any need to use the offensive language. We observed that you have 2 email accounts redeemed using the same AppSumo code. So, we contacted you and asked to share both the AppSumo codes.
We don't need to keep emailing you, but since we haven't heard from you, we sent a reminder to share the AppSumo codes you purchased. We only need the codes to map them to the...

I didn't end up using it.
Didn't play nice with my sitejet site. Didn't understand my sitemap urls not having a trailing slash so results were all 302 permanent redirect instead of meta info.
More importantly it trashed my core web vitals scores. Feel ripped off a little.

Nov 29, 2024Have you added the trailing slash for the sitemap URLs and re-indexed the site? That should solve the issue.
