5+ Taco product, exceptional customer service

We're tech consultants. We use AppSumo as a testing ground for productivity and development. When we saw Selldone we saw the beauty of this right away. Having many plugins doing things waiting on it to update can get clunky.

We see a lot of tech come and go on AppSumo and we're rooting that this one stays for the long haul. We want to see the Selldone team grow and succeed which is why we've been offering feedback and guess what? They really listen!

Here's what stands out:
1. Feedback is taken seriously to improve UX/UI.
Our #1 goal is to scale, and that should make everyone happy.
Selldone is extremely open and willing to partner (listen to feedback on improvements) vs some founders who get defensive and weird about feedback. They are highly proactive. They want their customers to succeed.

2. We are too busy to customize templates, they have a service for this too.
So far the turnaround is quick, we provided the comp and they gave us a working link within a reasonable time.

3.Their store model seems flexible and scalable which is important consideration for our use case. We need something we can spin up quickly, ready-to-go templates and get to market fast.

4. The transaction % seems fair. If they have it they keep the tech running, this is good. Some companies go under because they aren't thinking about the long term impact of a LTD. This lets us know they are invested in the future, reinvesting to improve their product and not a fly-by-night company. Worth 5+ tacos for this alone.

** We're re-viewing the Tier 6 or 7 upgrade. Not sure if we need that many stores (yet) but the drop from 3% to 2% or 1% (maybe even .5% one day ;-)) digital transaction is much more user friendly use case for scaling.

5. Mark (support) highly responsive and so is Alireza (one of the co-founders).

6. Moving data in and out: How nice Selldone plays with other systems is key here.
We asked before about data going in, but it's just as equally important that data can go out, we were told about webhooks, etc. We have yet to try this but when building this around larger enterpise systems the handshake, well-documented, easy to deploy RESTful API, webhooks makes all the difference. We are looking forward to exploring this part in the upcoming weeks. This will take them far.

Our Wishlist & Minor Suggestions:
Have a separate dashboard panel (can do this in tabs) for Super Admins "our setup" tab for our own overall set up and our customer "setup" tab to have a clearer distinction.
Use Case: If we're buying higher tiers we are most likely white labeling the product, having an experience that feels seamless for a Super Admin UI in what features turn off/on for the white label, so we need to ensure we aren't all seeing the same UI.
It would streamline for the Super Admins.

For selling multiple products or type this seems exceptionally good. We have a vendor model and we would like to see this feature really developed as a marketplace model.

Templates are very good. Suggest would love to get more details on default px size used for default images in the templates (this is a detail would love), they just have placeholder images but when trying to replace the images with your own, not really sure what px sizes they are... This makes the process a little more slowed down.

We're a very technical team so these types of UI details for higher tiers helps and can let their support focus on other things.

Report button: Some of the templates have broken image links, we suggest to have a report button so we can report the template, they may not know.

AI, BYOK would be good here. They offer their own depending on tier but a BYOK for the higher tiers, would love it.

Selldone feels very organized overall, regardless of our minor suggestions.

We'd love to keep working with these guys longterm and appreciate their enthusiasm and dedication to their vision. Support visionary founders and their businesses -- LET'S GO!!

Hello Yume
Reading this honestly made our day ❤️
You clearly looked at Selldone from both the technical and business side instead of just surface-level features, and that kind of feedback is incredibly valuable for us.

1️⃣ Feedback & UX/UI improvements
We truly believe good products improve through open conversations with users. A lot of what exists in Selldone today came directly from customer feedback, and we know there’s still a lot we can simplify and polish — especially for power users and agencies managing multiple stores.

2️⃣ Template customization service
Really happy the experience has been smooth so far 🙌
Our goal is to help businesses move from idea → launch as fast as possible without spending months rebuilding the basics every time.

3️⃣ Scalable architecture & flexibility
You described the vision perfectly.
We never wanted Selldone to become another plugin-dependent ecosystem. The goal has always been a unified infrastructure that can scale cleanly from small stores to enterprise and marketplace operations.

4️⃣ Transaction fee sustainability
Thank you for understanding the long-term logic behind this model.
We’ve seen too many platforms grow aggressively with unsustainable pricing and eventually either shut down or heavily increase fees later. We prefer building something stable that can keep improving for years.

5️⃣ Support & communication
Really appreciate the kind words about Mark and the team ❤️
We try very hard to stay accessible and close to customers because we know how frustrating disconnected support can feel when running real businesses.

6️⃣ APIs, webhooks & integrations
100% agreed. Data portability and integrations are critical for serious businesses.
We’re investing heavily into APIs, automation, and AI-assisted workflows because we believe the future is flexible infrastructure, not closed ecosystems.

7️⃣ Separate Super Admin / Customer setup areas
This is actually a very smart suggestion.
For agencies, white-label partners, and multi-store operators, having clearer separation between internal operational tools and customer-facing setup flows would absolutely improve usability. We’ve shared this internally already.

8️⃣ Template image dimensions
Totally fair feedback.
Showing recommended image sizes directly inside templates/sections would remove a lot of unnecessary guesswork and speed things up significantly for technical teams.

9️⃣ Report button for broken template assets
Excellent idea as well.
As the template ecosystem grows, having a lightweight reporting flow for broken assets or outdated links would help us maintain quality much faster.

And seriously, thank you again for the trust and energy you’ve brought into the community.
Building long-term with people who genuinely care about products and infrastructure is the best part of this journey.

LET’S GO 🚀

Regards,
Alireza
