Q: Can I use one account for multiple domains and email lists?

For example, can I have one list for xyz.com and another for abc.com? Will these be sent from the respective sites, or is each Sendfox account associated with one site?

A: Hello vincentmallon,

You can manage multiple brands and multiple domains with one SendFox account.

Here is how.
In SendFox, you will validate your domain, which allows it to appear as if you are sending your emails from it.
Two or more domains from different businesses can be validated with ease.

The only caveat is that when sending an email, you will constantly have to change the field "from email" to the one that suits your audience depending on the business you want to promote.
Also, there are no additional dashboards, and all emails and campaigns are visible from one dashboard only.

If your businesses are on the smaller side, one account will be sufficient for multiple audiences.
If they are on the larger side, we recommend getting an additional license and a SendFox account to avoid any issues or confusion with your newsletters.

We have also created a video to assist in domain validation.
You may see it here:

To use an email address with a custom domain that you own, you will need to validate that domain within SendFox.
- Generally, the steps for validating a domain in SendFox are here: https://sendfox.helpscoutdocs.com/article/127-how-do-I-validate-my-domain.
- If you are using Dreamhost, Google, GoDaddy, or NameCheap as your domain hosting service, you will want to follow these steps instead: https://sendfox.helpscoutdocs.com/article/139-validate-domain-namecheap-godaddy.
- Additionally, if you’re on Cloudflare, you will want to edit the proxy status of each of the CNAME records and set them to “DNS Only” instead of "Proxied.”.
When this is done, you can now change the From Email field in your Email Editor and replace it with an email address with the validated domain name in the below instances:

- when you create a brand new email campaign.
- in all of your sequence emails inside your Automation series
- In the Double-Opt-In email, you can customize this by editing the email campaign called "Please Confirm Your Subscription" that you can find in your Emails Dashboard.

We trust this will help and we wish you a great day!

With kind regards🌸
