Ok, but limited
So I will continue to use SendFox but it's lacking and inconsistent in a few things.
What's good
- It pretty straight forward to use
- You can use their CNAME and mass mail with SendGrid
What's not so good
- I wish they'd focus on core email functionality as opposed to adding other features, like smart campaigns (that never suck my images in) or smart pages, just make email better
- Some settings are buried in weird places (not great user flow)
- Sometimes you can export contacts and sometimes you cant, it just depends on what view of contacts you're looking at, but I want to export the list of unsubscribers etc
- You can't start an automation and then add emails to it later if you want the original contacts to get the future emails (why?!)
- The stats could be a lot better presented on the dashboard
- You can't copy and paste from other web editors unless it's google docs, it just doesn't like it
- If you send an 'email' then SendFox will warm up, if you send an automation SendFox will just send to everyone straight away (I mean, what's the difference - always do warm up please)
- You can't easily unsubscribe people yourself from the UI, you just delete the contact
- I had a delay of 96hrs on my automation but SendFox just sent it straight away, I'm guessing because it was the first email in automation
- You can't reorder emails in the automation (cmon guys!)
- The rules in between automats are super basic

May 9, 2024Thanks for the feedback, nick928. There's a lot of good stuff in here that we can use to make SendFox better. Really appreciate the constructive criticism.
And, we're hard at work making it better. We've released literally THOUSANDS of updates for Lifetime customers — at no extra cost — since SendFox was released. And we're excited to keep improving more (we just fixed a few additional bugs in the past week).
To note: SendFox should honor the automation delay. Just make sure to save the delay properly after editing. My guess is the delay wasn't saved, but if it was, shoot us an email as that's a bug.
