Q: When can we expect the full white label experience to be implemented?

At the moment I find it a little bit misleading to be honest, given that it’s a feature that is listed and supposedly already implemented in Tier 5.

As described by other users also, after a call the user is able to click on the logo (even when uploading custom logo) and then be redirected to «sessions.us»; this I cannot see is customizable. Both in the final screen and during the call the user is able to click on the «Help» button and then click on «Help center», «Contact support», «Check roadmap» and «Join our community». These are all links to sessions.us...

When in a meeting (that the user was allowed to join in through a provided link), the user is also able to click on «Log in» and, again, go through a sessions website. All these options are on the right hand corner on the screen, accesible anytime during the meeting.

And another thing I just found is that, in the final screen when the meeting is ended, and the user fills out the "feedback" form, it comes up the message "Know anyone who might love Sessions? Help us spread the word.".

My questions:

1) Is all this, from your point of view, expected behavior when the white label feature option is activated?
2) If not, wouldn’t it have been more clear to announce this feature as «in development»? Or just clarify the limitations of it?
3) If this is indeed not expected behaviour, when can we expect these issues to be addressed? According support (which I contacted a few days ago) there is no ETA yet, which I found surprising… Given the fact I don't see any of these issues as "planned" in the roadmap, I wonder if this is taken as a priority or even as an issue to be solved.

Having said all that and expressed my disappointment on this particular matter, I must say I find every other aspect of the solution absolutely fantastic and revolutionary.

A: Hey there,

The whitelabel feature is 98% done, but it's an ongoing process based on your feedback. Your observations are correct, we are working to harmonize things, because there is a thin line between what's needed and what's promotion.

1. More often than not, no. We are working around the clock to make it as smooth as possible, but, there should, somehow, exist a way of communication between the user and the provider if things go wrong. We are a young company, and we presume that it's better for the user to know that we are accessible, unlike big companies like Zoom, Google, or Microsoft.
2. We made several announcements that the feature is available, but it's a WIP. We should make it more clear.
3. We are releasing updates on this issue twice a month. We are really making progress, but I don't know an exact date for when all the situations will be addressed. Once again, your feedback is very much needed. These issues are on our internal backlog as an ongoing process, and it's a top priority.

Thank you for your kind words and mostly for your insights.
We evolve only with people like you who put effort into letting us know what is wrong. Together (users+listeners+dev team), we will build a well-rounded platform. I'm 100% sure.

Thanks again!

Sevian, I agree with the poster in that, while in white label, there should be no linkage between the user and sessions. You are right that it is good to be accessible to the users, but in this case, the "users" would be your white label clients.

In other words, as part of the white label offering, the stipulation would be that the participants won't have access to the "help", "login", "help center", "contact support", "join community" etc, when coming from a link that we provided to them, or booking with us, etc.

Please, make sessions a true white label experience.

By the way, yesterday I had my second meeting and went as smooth as butter. Thank you for making such a great app.

Thank you Savian for your reply. Hopefully a true whitelabel experience will be implemented, as very well described by edward42 is this thread. Keep up the excellent work!
