Issues with my Sheetany account
Hello Mr. Richard. I trust you are well. I bought 1st Tier of Sheetany on Appsumo on 23rd January 2026. I found lately it says my account is on trial . expires on 6th Feb 2026. As a result, I cannot use it to edit and launch a website. Can you please look into the matter? thank you beforehand. I tried to contact support but in vain. Kind regards

Kind of great, but still a work in progress
THE BASIC CONCEPT IS GREAT
o Give it a Google sheet, whose cells refer to a collection of images, Google Docs, etc.
o Choose a website template.
o And it will pull together the referenced resources and create an attractive, useful, 1-page website based upon the chosen template.
STRENGHTS AND WEAKNESSES OF THIS APPROACH
The strength of this approach is that you can quickly and easily create and update attractive, functional 1-page websites. The weakness is that someone else has made all the design and layout decisions for you, and very litte customization thereof is possible.
They say that you can fully control styles with custom CSS, and they give you a big text box where you can paste whatever CSS you want, but they don't document their CSS classes and selectors, so in effect very little custom stying is possible.
THE TEMPLATES ARE UNEVEN
Of the 29 templates, some are very useful. For example the Documentation template will compile a list of Google Docs into an online "book", where each Google Doc is a chapter. And the Blog template looks pretty useful.
On the other hand, some are not really useful, such as the eCommerce template, which doesn't handle sales tax, and applies the same, fixed shipping charge to all purchases.
And there are some that are in-between, such as the Table template, which produces a very attractive table layout, but only of four columns.
And the Landing Page template is totally useless. It basically gives you your own copy of the Sheetany home page, but doesn't let you create your own content.
GETTING STARTED IS HARDER THAN IT SHOULD BE
The basic process of creating a 1-page website from a template is fast and easy — once you learn all the tricks. But they don't have a simple explanation of all these tricks, so it took a lot of frustrating experimentation, and some back and forth with support, to be able to figure it out.
THE DOCUMENTATION IS LACKING
Of the 29 templates, there are only explanations in the online documentation for 14 of them, of which six are actual explanations, and the rest just contain copies of the explanation for the Waitlist template, so are effectively meaningless.
ONE SPECIAL PAGE, PLUS MULTIPLE GOOGLE-DOC PAGES?
An architectural oddity is that after using a template to create a 1-page website, you can add additional pages to the website by specifying one or more Google Docs, each of which will become an additional page in the website. So you end up with one "fancy" homepage, maybe a blog, and an arbitrary number of additional "plain" pages that are generated from Google Docs.
CLOSING COMMENTS
There is a lot more that could be said, but the above gives the big picture.
In my opinion, for those who want to be able to create clean, attractive, functional 1-page websites, such as a documentation site, or a blog, but don't know how to design, code and test them, and if Sheetany has a working template that fulfills their needs, then Sheetany is an excellent product, and the lifetime deal is an incredible value. I bought tier-3.

Interesting application, several bugs and lacks support.
I purchased this app intending to use it as a blogging platform. While I was able to set it up easily and publish the blog, I noticed several bugs. I reported these issues via email AND the built-in chat which showed my issues were seen, but I received no response from the developers even after several days.
These were simple items like published dates showing up on different date than the date it was actually published on, sheet not syncing sometimes and needing to be manually synced for new articles to show up on the site, and a few other minor design related issues.
The devs/support never responded.
An app lacking support is not worth investing in, so I advise proceeding with caution.

Great for creating web content directly from Google Docs and Sheets
I recently gave Sheetany a shot, and honestly, it just works. For those blogs with other content management systems (CMS), you likely know the effort of not just writing but also spending excessive time arranging individual elements to make your posts visually appealing and formatted well. Sheetany addresses this issue by transforming your Google Docs and Sheets into an actual website or blog, and I truly value this simplicity. The setup and navigation are straightforward, requiring little to no design expertise or technical skills. However, if you're after sophisticated designs and eye-catching graphics, you may need to explore other web design solutions. But for anyone looking to streamline content creation—which is exactly what I needed—I highly recommend giving Sheetany a try. If you encounter any issues, don't hesitate to reach out to the founder, Richard.

Effortless Websites from Sheets & Docs
Sheetany’s ability to pull content directly from Google Docs and generate a website from Google Sheets is incredibly powerful. While I’ve used other Sheets-to-website builders, the Google Docs integration is what truly sets Sheetany apart. It allows me to create well-structured blogs, detailed long-form pages, and even a sophisticated documentation site with ease.
Although a few templates weren’t immediately intuitive to customize, Richard was quick to help and showed me exactly how to tailor them to my needs. Overall, Sheetany has become a valuable addition to my website-building toolkit—especially with its headerless and footerless embed options, which make integrating it into existing sites seamless.
