Q: Hello there Often, I receive this error message "Exceeded maximum execution time (ligne 0)."
But, really, my request is pretty cool and no problem if I write it into chatgpt directly.
Also, seems to be a restriction (about 30s) to receive the answer, maybe we can upgrade this time manually somewhere ?
Also if I am using an example of YOUR prompt template (blog) : The error appear
It's very boring to use.
We can't ask a good prompt in the sheet, and to have nice personnalized answer, you know that we have to use good personnalized prompt
So your sheet is very cool : But if the restriction are too short, we can't "work" correctly into the sheet.
Second thing : Why did you not include the "copy paste as value" directly into the code when a answer is correctly returned ?
Because if we forgot to do that, we can PAY a lot for a duplicate call to the open ai API... and I leave you imagine the cost if we have a big sheet with hundred of request.
Third thing :
Do you plan to create a "queue" when we expand the formula into cells bellow ? Google script and openAI are not agree with that, and lot of request are in error too.
If you plan to add a queue each time a formula is created or expanded.... so that can upgrade the quality of your sheet.

1. Unfortunately it's a limitation of Google Sheets and there is not a great way to get around it. We're still trying to see if there is a way, but currently you cannot get around it.
2. We added a caching system on the latest release which solves for this and you will not get charged duplicate for the same prompt and you'll get the output way quicker.
3. Yes, a queue/throttling system would be really nice - we'll definitely look into it as this would be super helpful in doing bulk work and a few others have requested this as well!
