SheetMagic: ChatGPT + Google Sheets Integration Reviews

I recently took the plunge and immersed myself in Sheetmagic, and WOW! It makes numerous tasks incredibly seamless. I am currently working on setting up multiple flows that are interconnected with AI formulas, and this is going to completely transform my entire workflow and automate a significant amount of processes that I usually have to handle manually. If you're undecided about getting Sheetmagic, you definitely don't want to miss out, as it completely changes the game!

After just a few days, SheetMagic has already become a valuable tool in my daily routine. It's made a massive difference in my productivity level. If you perform many cut-and-paste functions regarding your ChatGPT usage, SheetMagic will probably save you a lot of time.

It's easy to set up and use, right out of the box. Highly recommended!

I have tried them all and this for me is the best GSheets Ai integration tool.
Some of the reviews are criticising the set up process, but it is stated an API key is required, and obviously this is going to require some fiddling and time to set up, yes it isn't the world's most streamlined setup, but its an API integration into google sheets - what else are you expecting?
Once set up it works brilliantly, it can be a little frustrating not Saving As Values and therefore having to re-do work, but again, it is part and parcel of a tool like this that overlays onto google sheets.

Bought the tier 1 plan and I cant even add my API key for Open AI or Open Router to use my existing AI credits.

Tier 1 and Tier 2 plans force an unnecessary limitation of GPT-4o - and lets make this clear - SheetMagic does not even provide the AI - they expect you to use your own API key - but then BLOCK you from using your own API keys unless you upgrade to Tier 3.

This has to be the worst and most blatant dark pattern I have ever encountered and the founders should be ashamed of themselves. I think it may be an APPSUMO special type of dark pattern.

They even require you to upgrade to Tier 3 to be able to use Google Gemini FREE AI models.

Trickery and manipulation are the only things the founders seem to be expert at because the app itself is extremely limited and far behind similar apps which are free on the Google sheets extension store.

Steer well clear of this scam!

awful tool. i spent 1 hour trying making this works but not working,, full of errors and i cant connect safe mode too. not worth anything

I just wanted to add my compliments for how responsive they have been to my queries. It is rare that you find a vendor being so responsive and caring. I am still in the beginning stages of using it - which make their responsiveness that much more ebenficial during the onboarding. Thanks!

I recently tried out the extension for handling CSV files, and it’s seriously a lifesaver! It automatically cleans up and sorts data, nice web scraper... It’s like having a smart buddy right in your Google Sheets, making everything easier and faster. If you work with CSVs a lot, it seems a nice tool

I am using SheetMagic for bulk writing and rewriting it worked smoothly. We get some errors sometime but a lot convenient than other AI tools for bulk operations.

I have already generated 1300+ page content with SheetMagc and looking forward to complete 20K+ by Jan end.
I am yet to explore other usecases.
