You can now teach SheetXAI how to handle a spreadsheet task once, save that work as a workflow, and bring it back whenever you need it.

Run it yourself, launch it from chat, or put it on a schedule and let it handle repeat spreadsheet work for you.

Getting started

If you have not installed the Chrome extension yet, head to the SheetXAI website and click Install. That gets the extension into Chrome and ready to work with your Google Sheets.

You do not need to wait for a tutorial to try it

Tutorials are on the way, but the core flow is intentionally simple.

Open a Google Sheet and say:

“Make a workflow that does [the task I need].”

Once SheetXAI finishes building it, say:

“Schedule it.”

You can also do the work normally first, then say:

“Can you save this as a workflow and run it every [Monday / week / schedule I want]?”

What this lets you do

• Save repeat spreadsheet work. Turn work you already explained to the agent into something you can reuse instead of starting from scratch.

• Run it where it makes sense. Launch a workflow from the Workflows area, tell the agent to run it in chat, or use it right before a meeting when you need the sheet updated quickly.

• Schedule recurring work. If a task needs to happen every Monday morning, every week, or on your own cadence, schedule it. It can keep working even while the Chrome extension is closed.

• Get a real report when it finishes. Scheduled runs send an email with what happened, what changed, the metrics involved, and verification evidence.

• Recover when you need to. Before a workflow edits your spreadsheet, SheetXAI creates a recovery copy. Workflow History keeps your latest 10 restore points separate from normal chat backups.

It checks its own work too

Every workflow has a verification plan. It does not just run the task and disappear. It checks whether the job finished the way it was supposed to, then gives you the evidence in the result.

That matters when the workflow is touching a sheet you depend on, not just doing a one-time edit.

Chrome got a lot smoother too

This release also cleans up first-time startup, Google sign-in recovery, temporary network failures, switching between sheets, scheduling feedback, scraper feedback, and clearer error messages when something needs your attention.

Workflow limits today

There are no workflow limits enforced right now. Over time, workflow and scheduled-run limits will be based on your plan or tier. For now, you can start using them freely.

⚡ SAI Commands & Custom Commands Now Run in the Background

This is a game-changer.

#1 — No more keeping SheetXAI open. After opening SheetXAI in a spreadsheet, you don't need to keep it open to run your SAI commands and custom commands. Just don't edit the cell while it's processing.

#2 — Integrations run in the background. Run something like Apify, close SheetXAI, go do your thing. When it's done, your sheet is automatically created and populated. We'll even email you when it's complete.

#3 — No more SAI rerunning errors. You're no longer limited to 30 seconds. The output is automatically converted to static text — no more needing to "make ranges static."

#4 — Run SAI prompts from your phone. Since everything runs in the background, you can type your SAI prompts from your phone and it just works 🔥

We completely rebuilt the system under the hood:

For Excel users, You may be asked to sign in again — sorry about that! We upgraded our security infrastructure to make sure everything is airtight. It's a one-time thing. This will fix the consistent sign in request on reboot.

Significantly faster — operations that used to lag should feel noticeably snappier.

Better reliability — the system handles more load, recovers faster, and performs more consistently.

WooCommerce was create-only before. Now you can also import products and update existing products with full filtering. It's faster too — we switched to direct API calls.

The update I dropped today in SheetXAI Google Sheets was a complete platform replacement that not only significantly speeds up SheetXAI's loading time — it completely changes how we process things.

#1 — No more keeping SheetXAI open. After opening SheetXAI in a spreadsheet, you DO NOT need to keep it open to run your custom commands and SAI commands. The message that used to say "keep SheetXAI open" now says "you can close SheetXAI, just don't edit this cell."

#2 — Integrations run in the background. That also means when you run integrations like Apify, you don't need to wait around either. Close SheetXAI, go do your thing, and when it's done, our system will automatically create the sheet and populate everything. Come back whenever you're ready — we'll even email you when it's complete.

Excel Issue

Many users have informed us about the Excel version having issues editing the right cells etc. We are aware and have already started working on it. Once we roll out the features today, there should be a massive improvement and a few days later there should be an even bigger improvement as we make more updates.

If you just bought and had issues, please do not refund, and instead email me immediately with any issues so that we know what cases to handle. As many would tell you, I am super responsive, so feel free to email me and let me assist you.
