Q: Dudas sobre créditos

Hello Davi, the application sounds interesting, I have some questions that I hope you can help me resolve.
1. How do the licenses apply, is there one license for Excel and another license for Google Sheets?, or is it a license per team?
2. If I only have 1 license for the team, can I access both Excel and Google Sheets with a single license?
3. The option for BYOK is great!, but does each level have any limitation on the number of operations or actions, for example: does level 2 allow 3,000 actions (such as marking 3 rows or columns), or generating 50 pivot tables, etc.?
4. What is the difference between acquiring or not the Excel intelligence agent add-in?
Thanks!

A: Hey Gilmezai 👋!

1000% my friend! Let me break this down:

1. How do licenses apply?
1 license means 1 email or 1 person. If you buy the 3 licenses plan for example WITH the Excel add-on, you can add 3 emails to your LTD seats, which tells SheetXAI anybody with these 3 emails gets LTD access in Sheets AND Excel. Having 1 license won't work for your entire team since each of them would need to use their own license.

2. Can I access both Excel and Google Sheets with a single license?
Yes! If you buy the Excel add-on, that 1 license gives you access to both Google Sheets and Excel. Without the Excel add-on, your license only works in Google Sheets.

3. Are there any limitations on operations with BYOK?
The BYOK means unlimited. You pretty much have as much freedom as your Google account allows. I believe Google allows 20k operations per day. Operations like creating a pivot table or marking many rows at once only count as one operation, not per row. Per row operations are cell by cell operations (SAI commands). There's no limit on the number of actions you can perform with BYOK - you're only limited by your API provider's rate limits.

4. What's the difference with the Excel add-on?
The main difference in the Excel add-on is whether you can use SheetXAI in Excel or not. Without it, you only get Google Sheets. With it, you get both.

Let me know if you have other questions! 🙂

David, thank you very much for your prompt and kind response, I have another question. If I don’t purchase credits or have an API key, and I acquire level 2, what do I have access to in terms of the type and number of actions or activities both in Excel and Google Sheets, that is, what can I do and what can I not do.

Hey Gilmezai 👋!

Great question! If you don't purchase credits or have an API key, you won't be able to use any of the AI-powered features in SheetXAI. The tool requires either our AI credits or your own API key (BYOK) to work.

Think of it like this: SheetXAI is the interface and automation engine, but it needs AI credits or an API key to power the actual AI operations.

So with Tier 2, you get access to all the Tier 2 features (content generation, lead generation, WordPress integration, etc.), but you need either:
- Our AI credits (purchase as add-on), OR
- Your own API key from OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, Straico, OpenRouter, etc. (BYOK - unlimited operations)

Most people either start with BYOK from day one (if they already have API accounts), or they grab some AI credits for convenience and switch to BYOK later if they need more volume.

Does that make sense?
