Q: Queries
What's meaning of BYOk in this context? Do I need to bring Key from some foundational model like openAI or what?
Once analysis is done, can I send final sheet to client. Can they open it in Excel or Google sheets?

Great questions! Let me clarify:
WHAT IS BYOK?
BYOK stands for "Bring Your Own Key" - meaning you bring your own API key from AI providers like OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, etc.
So yes, you'd get an API key from providers like:
- OpenRouter (my top recommendation - gives you access to ALL models)
- OpenAI
- Claude
- Gemini
- Groq
- Fal AI
- And others
You connect your API key in SheetXAI's settings, and then you get unlimited operations (limited only by the provider's rate limits). It's usually way more cost-effective than buying credit packs, especially for heavy usage.
For example, you could get an OpenRouter API key with just $5 and use GPT-4o mini for most operations. That $5 would last you a really long time.
BYOK vs CREDITS:
You have two options for "fueling" SheetXAI:
1. BYOK - Connect your own API keys (unlimited usage, you pay the AI provider directly)
2. Credits - Buy credit packs from us at $59 per 5,000 credits (convenient, no API setup needed)
You can mix both approaches anytime.
SENDING SHEETS TO CLIENTS:
Yes! Once your analysis is done, you can absolutely send the final sheet to your client. They can open it in Excel or Google Sheets like any normal spreadsheet.
Important note though: The SheetXAI AI features won't work for them unless they also have SheetXAI installed. But all the data, formatting, charts, pivot tables, and results you generated will be there as a regular spreadsheet. They just won't be able to use the AI commands themselves unless they have their own SheetXAI access.
So if you just want to share results and final reports with clients, that works perfectly. If you want them to also use the AI features, they'd need their own SheetXAI license.
Let me know if you have other questions! 🙂
