Q: Using model name as a parameter of SAI

Hi, is it possible to (or do you plan to) use a specific LLM model as a variable in a SAI formula?

I would like to test/compare output of several models for a certain prompt side by side and see how different models perform.

A: Hey Ludoja 👋!

YES, but it's def something we need to streamline a lot more, but it does work currently.

If you notice in the Content tab of settings, there is an "Add Model" button. This allows you to add multiple content models which is what's used in SAI.

Once done, when you type your SAI commands just prefix the prompt with !CONTENT1 or !CONTENT2 etc.

Like:

#SAI !CONTENT2 write an email about #A

This will use the second model you chose.

This is especially good when you use OpenRouter or Straico since they have multiple models. So you could have GPT-4 as CONTENT1, Claude as CONTENT2, Gemini as CONTENT3, etc., and test them all side by side in different columns.

We plan to make this smoother in Q1 2026, but the functionality already exists. Text our support chat if you try it and run into any issues. Also, in each settings tab, you will see a "How to Use" button. This would show you how to use that tab, so it would have shown you these examples.

Does that work for what you're trying to do?

Let me know if you have other questions! 🙂
