Powerful Spreadsheet Automation That Saves Time and Boosts ProductivitY
SheetXAI is a very handy tool that has significantly accelerated my workflow. It integrates smoothly into spreadsheets and allows me to complete tasks that used to take a lot of manual effort in a fraction of the time. The AI-powered features feel practical and well thought out, making it a valuable addition to my daily work process.
One piece of feedback: it would be very helpful if this isn’t already available somewhere on the website, to have clearer visibility for BYOK users on which AI model is best suited for specific tasks. For example, this could be shown in the dashboard of our account. This would help avoid unnecessary high costs by making it easier to select the cheapest model for simple tasks.
An even more useful improvement would be if the tool could first analyze the prompt using a low-cost model and then automatically select the most appropriate AI model in OpenRouter to execute the task. This would make cost optimization much easier while still ensuring high-quality results.
Overall, SheetXAI is a powerful and time-saving tool, and with a bit more guidance and automation around model selection, it could become even better.

For the recommended models for each operation, we typically recommend gpt-4o-mini for 90% of operations, except if it keeps running into errors then you switch to one of the Claude models.
PS: If you go to settings, you will notice that each tab has a "recommended model" shown. For the chatbot - Gpt 4o mini , for content gemini 2.5 flash, and for url perplexity sonar. We will keep updating those recommended models over time.
