Doesn't work, slow support

It just doesn't work for me. Not doing anything special, just forwarding the email exactly as instructed. It always returns an error email back to me. Asked about it, super slow (about 5 days) response, with nothing more than what amounted to "yeah, doesn't seem to work for you, I'll see about telling someone". Love the idea, but the idea is only as good as the implementation of it.

Schedule that baby

I still think this is a good deal. I would go for Ace Meetings and TimeSync, but I stuck with Sidekick Ai. Support is slow as it seems to be. Chris is the only one answering your questions and dealing with tickets. But that's pretty normal for most of the small AppSumo teams.

Sidekick Ai is a great appointment scheduling platform for freelancers, solopreneurs, or small teams compared to subbing to Calendly. So you got your money back within 10 months. It's a powerful tool that can help you be more organized, save time, and build your business.

I've been using it for a few months now, and I love it. It allows me to schedule appointments with my clients in minutes (set up is just as quick) and waste less time on unproductive appointments.

I have tried several similar products, but none of them have been as intuitive or user-friendly as Sidekick Ai. The difference is apparent: Sidekick Ai has meeting analytics! Highly recommend this!

Thank you very much for this! Yeah we launched on PH last Thursday (1 week ago and it's been a whirlwind) BUT we are all caught up and rocking. We are making some updates and improvements after the AppSumo deal is done in a few days too.

Hello,
Questions posted on the appsumo deal page 5-6 days ago, a minority answered while there is almost no activity in terms of others members posting questions.
Then comes the evaluation of the product : the trial is limited in features so difficult to test the added values. Talking of that in the questions section didn't help much as most of the questions are not answered, at least these days.
So to test, no other choice than buying but 2 blocking points (related to adding google and microsoft accounts) forbid to test forward.
Support was then contacted for that but 4 days later now, still no news from them.
No support means no buying so implies 1 taco

I have contacted you and explained everything in pretty good detail. Again will explain here.

- The only team member answering the AppSumo page is me. I told you that there is no notifications and must be manually checked daily. When you posted 8 questions, that was a time of slow down on our AppSumo page. I was checking daily, then it slowed down so I forgot to keep checking daily. One day then you posted 8+ questions and I started getting back to them quickly as I can. Again, no notifications of reviews or questions, you must manually check. Sorry I have not been able to manually check daily and this deal has been running for multiple months and we've been on AppSumo 2+ years now.

- I also asked you to simply email me directly. You have not done so in a few days from what I've seen and I have answered all of your emails.

- I have explained to you as well that you can simply buy a code and refund. We don't offer trial version as explained. We have a free version and paid. That is very standard in the scheduling space and I'm sorry that you may disagree or think there may be a better solution. We have experimented with many pricing models and have stuck with this and do not plan to change. Good thing about AppSumo is you can buy and refund 100% back no questions asked to get full experience here. I suggest that is your best option to test drive the full feature set.

Definitely a deal to pick up

I asked many questions before signing up. Great response time and thoughtful replies - not the stock answers you often get.

I really do like the way the app is working now and even more excited about the updates planned. This is not just a standard calendar tool especially as updates continue.

We are consultants who use scheduling tools to set up our calls with prospects, clients and business partners. Acuity has been working for us for years. They are part of Squarespace since 2019 and future plans for Acuity are all about integrating it with Squarespace sites on the backend. I don't expect to see anything else added anytime soon but who knows - we don't have any information at all.

Sidekickai's draw is the ability to schedule and reschedule via the ai tool. That is the secret sauce I am after. The rest will get there based on what I see so far. After having a link to send people for years and some use it while others do not the ai gives me the best of both world since people interact directly in their emails with ai suggestions.

I love the options to add all my different connection methods and allow the scheduler to select how they want to connect. It puts them in control and adds it to the appointment for me.

Also a big fan of the ability for the person scheduling the appointment to add others to the invite when they book the time. Saves so much time adding and updating! Excellent feature.

Parts I need to feel I have a top-notch solution to my problems in place:

- Add a notes or message option to the scheduling page to allow me to know what we are supposed to discuss. While I can usually guess why someone has booked time with me being prepared makes me look better.

- Highlight the option to add invites. Not sure why but some people don't notice they can do that because they have to flip the switch to show it.

- Ability to set openings for a specific day not only like every Wed from 9-4. I want much more flexibility so I can set my schedule manually selecting days and times I am available on the schedule. If I want to open up next Friday afternoon but only next Friday afternoon, that can't be done right now. Some weeks get booked up and I need to add openings for just that week.

- Embed options or WordPress plugin. I want the page to "feel" like it is on my website by embedding the scheduling page. I use redirects to point the page from Acuity embed to the new scheduling page but it is clearly not our site.

- Automated reminders for scheduled appointments with options for me to send it x days and/or hours in advance.

- For the bonus round have an option for the automated reminders to include not just a link to reschedule get the power by adding the ai bot rescheduling options that shows them immediately where the next openings are instead of them going to a link.

Very happy so far and looking forward to where this product is going.

- We are rolling out questions in a few weeks! Currently building this now.

- Interesting about the invite guests. I guess yeah why even have a toggle on the page? Why not just have a box if you allow right? makes sense. I'll ticket this now with dev team.

- We do want to build more sophistication in pages / availabilities and we will. Currently working on Rescheduling / Canceling meetings overhaul for you and your guests. Making this better and smarter. But we will plan on these updates soon after.

- Embed is huge request. We need to look into this soon and know we have to at one point. No clear exact date but we know we will do this.

- We are building 1 hour / 24 hour reminders. We do plan to redo settings page sometime and also allow more customized ability to setup your own reminders. For now we are making it simple and standard 24 hours before and 1 hour before. Then we will build to make users configure them.

- Yeah the rescheduling we will make it way better. We have the core build with the email AI bot now and it will get smarter. We had a huge success with Pages we launched in August. We were competing with Acuity / Calendly, and we feel it's up to par almost. We plan to start enhancing other areas in the platform now like the AI bot / Sidekick Scheduling soon.

Simple, Effective, To The Point

This is one of the best scheduling system's I have used so far. The interface is simple to use and it does feature everything you would need from a scheduler. It was easy to set up. It was not complicated at all. Just add your calendar and boom that's it.

The only thing is that it is missing some features that I have came accustomed to like limiting how far in advanced someone can book. I have talked to Chris and he has big plans to implement all the features I have asked for. The support staff is amazing if you ever have a questions or something about sidekick they are always ready to help.

This is a must grab for anyone that schedule appointments you will never regret your investment.

Thank you so much for this :) I actually just pinged our dev team in slack and #1 gave them a huge congrats on their hard work and #2 told them we need to look at these end date times for booking! Told them it's publicly out on the web now ha. BUt again, thank you soo much! Also - we ARE about to launch "Do / Do Not allow same day booking". Hoping have this live by next week and I'm crafting a huge blog post and email that will recap since Dec all of the massive updates we've done. More to come :)
