Yes, advertising my Amazon Merch is a major pain point. I tried that a lot - had some success - but after a while I noticed that I spend more money on ads than I earn.
At least there should be a break even possible.
The problem on Merch By Amazon products is, that the margins are quite low for the seller. A sold $19.99,- T-Shirt for example would bring about $5.00 into my account only.
Maybe you have some ideas on how to implement that into your software.

It sounds like you are already approved to advertise Merch through amazon advertising. Meaning we likely already have the functionality to support you.
When getting started in advertising it is not uncommon for your ad sales to account for 80% of your sales. This 80/20 paid to organic split can make profitability a challenge.
Our process emphasizes securing organic ranking on highly relevant search terms. We focus on organic ranking through rank based advertising optimization. The end goal is to push your paid to organic sales to 40/60 over a 3-month period. This split can still result in breakeven advertising spend at a $5 margin, but an overall profitable amazon account.

We suggest following the Amazon recommendation of $50 a day. It important to note that the goal is not to spend $50 but to have the ability to do so.
Many products starting there take a week to two weeks to spend that much on a daily basis. *Our goal isn't to spend your money but make you money.*
If we find $50 is too much then we will reduce it automatically, but ideally it is a jumping off point and we will be able to spend more over time, profitably!

Typically for us to manage I would still ask for $50 a day, but we could start off at $25 a day and work our way up.
With that kind of margin we would need to be highly targeted to get started. Meaning focus on 2 themes and some product targeting.
