Hey, if I use this on my website, do I need a privacy policy and if so, what does it need to say? Because it technically doesn't use cookies, right?
Also, the reason I don't use Google Analytics is that it requires me to create an ad. Can this app avoid the problem and just let me track my web page without having to create a useless ad for Google?
It is generally a good practice to include a privacy policy for any tools you are using on your website. You can find the link to our privacy policy here: https://docs.sitebehaviour.com/privacy/privacy-policy.
By "ad," did you mean the cookie banner that needs to be displayed when using Google Analytics, or am I misunderstanding your concern? If you...
Thanks Kiran - can you also answer my other question of whether I have to create an ad to make this app work (as with Google Analytics)^
Q: Can I use the codes within Thrivecart?
Hi all, I am far away of being an expert, but love how easy the data come into this tool from my main website. I am on Tier 1 and would like to understand, how I can use this tool with two of my subdomains - ie. ThiveCart and Brilliant Directory.
Can I just add the Code into the tracking section on each of my checkoutpages within Thrivecart? (How would I then differentiate all these various pages, as the box does not deliver any details?) I have a subdomain in place. And I have set it up as websites within my workspace.
I have read your documentation Gitbook site and there isn't even a mention of UTM tracking. A YouTube channel with video tutorials showing how UTM parameters are tracked, might be useful
It is one thing tracking the path the visitor takes through your website and the bounce rate, but what is needed is to track exactly where traffic has come from.
You are probably losing sales, as people are not prepared to take a risk on a product, with zero reviews and a top tier price of $2k
Q: Heatmaps Limitations? Multiple Websites and Users Management Improvement?
Hello,
Could you please clarify these points?
- When I initially purchased SiteBehaviour, I understood that heatmaps were unlimited. I now notice a limit of 50 per site. Was this added recently or was it already present?
- What does the 50 heatmaps limit represent? Is it automatically generated or can we manually select which pages benefit from this feature (I couldn't find anything about this)?
- Unlimited heatmaps require a Tier 6 (of 7) at $999. This price difference is really significant - could you please explain the logic behind this limit when videos are unlimited?
- Management of multiple websites and users in a single workspace is quite basic and not very practical. Do you have any improvements planned at this level, such as adding a folder system, filters and more advanced organization features?
1) 50 heatmaps per site were already present since the beginning of campaign.
2) As of now, the portal does not allow the selection of pages for heatmaps, therefore all pages are automatically tracked under heatmaps. But in our upcoming heatmaps2.0, you will be able to choose the pages which benefit from this feature.
Thank you for your reply. However, regarding point 3, there seems to be a misunderstanding - I wasn't asking about the difference between tier 6 and 7 or the number of visits. My question was specifically about why unlimited heatmaps require such a high-tier plan ($999) when videos are already unlimited in lower tiers. Could you explain the reasoning behind this pricing structure?
Q: Back 2025?
Will you be back 2025, so we can buy more LTD workspaces.
