Q: 5 Questions About Coupon Code vs Affiliate Link
There must be a work around with a discount code instead of affiliate URL since skillplate doesnt support affiliate url. Please answer my questions below before i go ahead and finalize the payment.
1-How do i use the discount code instead of affiliate url?
2-Do affiliates have dashboards to see their referrals and earnings, or do I have to share that manually?
3-Are affiliate URLs or more advanced tracking systems planned? If yes, when?
4-If the discount code isn’t for an actual discount, can it still trigger affiliate tracking properly?
5-Are affiliate commissions calculated and paid automatically, or do I have to handle it manually?
Thanks.

We do have fantastic discount codes that are trackable and they track the revenue generated. So you just create a code for your affiliates and the code automatically tracks their sales with 100% accuracy. It always works never fails.
You can see the revenue generated in the code.
2. We do not have dashboards for the affiliates to see it on their own. But it is a feature we plan to add.
3. Affiliate URLs are actually the worst way to track affiliate sales. They end up not working a lot of the time and they do not track accurately.
4. Yes the discount can be for something like a free trial or a free product. It does track properly. But the best practice is for the code to provide an actual benefit so people use it every time.
5. We do not support global payouts you will need to handle this part yourself or integrate a system for it.
Usually if you have more than 20 active affiliates you would need a system just for the payouts.
That system would also provide link tracking and can be linked to codes too.
