I purchased a Skillplate account on tier-5 and I trust Dimitar and his team to make it at least to one of the most wanted and successfull platforms on this planet. The foundation is led! Not every function is fully developed yet. But important functions like a members area or a mobile app, is already fixed on the roadmap. That means: The best is yet to come.
I live in Switzerland and I already know some interested people who are looking for a platform like skillplate for their businesses in Switzerland as well as in Germany.

If you're thinking about Skillplate, here's what stands out to me: it's simple, flexible, and lets me focus on creating.. not fighting with tech.

But what really makes a difference is Dimitar, the founder. He listens, responds, and genuinely cares about creator feedback. Having a real person behind the platform who wants to make it better means a lot.

For me, Skillplate means less time on tech and more time creating and helping my students.

Would I recommend it? Absolutely! and not just for the platform, but for the person behind it.

I left a 2 taco review for over branding. But...

This was an issue with my site being cached and still showing the original SkillPlate branding. SkillPlate resolved the caching issue and now I have a beautifully laid out course app - nice surprise.

With the minimal branding in the footer, we are all in now and I have to give a full 5 tacos.

Setting the courses up has been straightforward, the onboarding call was genuinely helpful, and support has been good. The owner is clearly engaged too — which always matters — so I’m interested to see where the platform continues to go.

I come from an Elementor web background, so I think I went in expecting a similar level of design intuitiveness. This feels a little different, but as with most platforms, there’s likely a learning curve and it may just take some time to get fully comfortable with it.

Video quality has been a little inconsistent at times, with some uploads appearing blurry, so embedding may end up being the better option there.

The upsell and order bump setup still isn’t completely clear to me either — I suspect once it clicks it will be very powerful — but there is definitely a learning curve.

One thing that would be genuinely helpful is more visibility on the roadmap, particularly timelines for core features like upsells. Even rough guidance would make planning much easier for those of us building funnels.

Overall though, it’s a capable platform with strong potential, and I’m looking forward to exploring it further.
