BillQ: Active Users and MoR
Hi, a couple of questions please:
1. How many students / buyers are possible in Tier 1?
2. What are active users?
3. What are contacts? - One buyer count as a contact?
4. Is the 10% fee for the platform or does it include the stripe fees?
5. Are you a Merchant of record (MoR)? If not, do you have plans for this?
I see you track affiliates with codes, can we or the affiliates customize this code or generate multiple codes?
Will the digital products, for example the PDF files will have buyer email or detail PDF stamping to prevent piracy?
Is external video storage / hosting allowed, for example Vimeo, or Bunny?

1. In practice tier 1 is enough if you get about 50-100 new customers a month.
2. Contacts are people in your crm that you can contact, active users are contacts that have access to at least 1 product. Contacts are an anti spam measure and are more than enough. And you can almost never hit the limit on active users. You would hit storage or streaming limits before that.

5. We are not a merchant of record and do not plan to be. We will be integrating with payment solutions for this.
You can create an unlimited ammount of codes and customize them in more ways than you can imagine :)
We have not implemented our anti piracy package yet but it will support these kinds of things when we do it.
External video storage is allowed but it has significant drawbacks. You lose a ton of tracking and marketing features because we lose all video analytics if you use external hosting.
The price of Skillplate is cheaper than vimeo for example.

To clarify #1 regarding the total buyers for Tier 1: let’s say, for example, I have one product and run ads to promote it. In a best-case scenario, hypothetically, if the ad and the $7 offer clicks and 1,000 people sign up in a month (which would be a great outcome :)), can all those people buy the product / course without issues? Thx
