A: Udemy charges 98% of revenue LOL. I have 18000 course sales on Udemy and that brought me $4800. They totally devalued my courses and paid me 25 cents per sale. They are only a good option for people who absolutely cannot sell anything on their own. 1 Sale on Skillplate is worth 100 sales on Udemy. And you don't own your customers data. Which means you don't have a business, you have 0 retention and you cannot upsell.
If you care about the commission there is a 0% commission addon which is actually the biggest discount we will ever make.
What we do to earn it is we unlike Udemy allow you to build your own business, with your own products and customers and your own brand on your own domain. Udemy is only better for you if you cannot sell anything to anyone ever. (you would be surprised but there are loads of people who can't sell at all.)
In fact out of all our competitors Udemy is by far the worst option.
If your clients are rockstars and you want someone to sell for you I would go with Masterclass.
If you want to create your own private masterclass and sell them yourself, well ... Skillplate is your best bet.

Also and maybe crucially important. You can also pay our monthly fees and get no commission if your business grows and the commission becomes too high. It will still be a lot cheaper than Kajabi for example. And your business will certainly look a lot more professional. You would have a better conversion rate and more sales for a much lower fee. So you can remove the commission with the addon or later on with a subscription which would turn your lifetime account into a massive lifetime discount since you only pay for what you use over your lifetime plan.
