Q: Skool vs Discord Integration + Comparison with OCH
Hi Dimitar! I'm really interested in Skillplate's offering. I noticed you have Discord integration for community features. Have you considered, or is there any roadmap for Skool integration instead? I find Skool's gamification and course-focused community features align better with online education.
Also, I've been comparing you with Online Course Host – could you share what you feel are Skillplate's main advantages or unique features that differentiate you from them? Understanding your unique value proposition would really help my decision.
Cheers!

Edited Nov 12, 2025A: Hello. The simple fact is that discord gets over 20 times more engagement in communication. It is better than Skool. A Whole ton better. And free forever.
We do not plan to integrate with Skool. We plan to replace Skool entirely. We will have internal community features like skool and gamification too and everything fully branded of course.
Also Skool has good gamification features and community features yes but everything else is severely lacking. It is ok for solopreneurs but limits your growth severely as you cannot transition into building a company from the side hustle you start there.
Online course host despite what the name suggests does not host your courses and you have to pay for external hosting and then you lose CRITICAL tracking and marketing features that get you more sales. I would not use it even if they paid me. And they even limit you to 3 courses when you pay for the hosting yourself.
