We purchased Tier 1 to evaluate Skillplate as our educational platform. The interface is modern and attractive, but internal management needs urgent improvements: administrators have the same privileges as the owner, with no hierarchy or granular control. It’s not possible to assign course managers or delegate tasks, which could make administration unmanageable as the platform scales. With adjustments to permissions, roles, and media management, it could become a great tool. Additionally, video iframes didn’t work well. If the management philosophy evolves, we’ll definitely look at Skillplate again.
