Back in the day 2017/2018 - I used to buy frequently on Appsumo but over the years, I did not see much that caught my eye. These days most things can be self built using AI + Automations. However Skillplate stood out to me like a glistening diamond.

As soon as I hit the landing page I realized it was the founder from Masters Academy, I have previously bought a few of their courses and as such know that he has a masterful understanding of business, marketing and the tech landscape. Although I still need to revisit the courses, one thing I remembered was how detailed the content was and how amazing the UI was.

So based on who was behind it was bought in immediately - I setup a demo account and had a play around, I was highly impressed with the UI and the fact that everything seem to be working out of the box. A polished an refined product from day 1.

As someone who lives in this space, I found it very intuitive and easy to use. This means it lives up to its ease of of use claim. This instantly increases the value as it means I can quickly implement and focus on iterating my offers, focus on my marketing, product creation, client meetings rather than setting up the platform.

The founder has always been responsive, when I had any questions about Masters Academy - he was always quick and helpful. When I was asking questions in my demo Skillplate account he was there instantly - a massive plus. I can see that he is reliable and consistent over the years.

I also commend the deal structure - the commission is fine with me, I am happy the founder will make money and the platform will be sustainable, it means I can fully invest without worrying about needing to shift to another platform in future.

There is a lot to learn but for me this was the perfect deal and I am implementing immediately.
