Q: Quick Question Regarding Credits
Hello, I hope you're doing well.
Could you please clarify what "credits" refer to within the SMS-IT platform? If I'm integrating SMS-IT with Twilio for sending messages, do I still need the credits provided by SMS-IT?
For example, the Tier 5 plan includes 1 million credits — how exactly are those credits measured, and how do they apply when using a third-party service like Twilio?

May 1, 2025A: Credits are used for sending and receiving messages within the SMS-iT platform. SIM cards and gateways are used to relay and deliver those messages. Even if you're using Twilio or your own SIM card for delivery, you still need SMS-iT credits to initiate and process the messages through our system.
