Q: Are Twitter threads possible?
Hello, I bought sociamonials in 2019, so quite some time now š I've been asking about Twitter threads every year at least twice now, so that's a long long time since 2019. Is posting twitter threads available now? Or should I expect another ~5 years? :-))

Oct 6, 2024A: We're holding off on this for a couple of reasons: Twitter has indicated that they want to increase the character limits for tweets so we're watching this. Also, we have to pay for our Twitter API now and each tweet in the thread counts towards our tweet limit, so we just don't have the budget for that. Hopefully they will increase their limits. In the meantime, we are launching our new campaign UX on Monday finally so Meta Threads will be launching in just a few weeks. They have way longer character counts. Hopefully more people will move to Meta Threads.

Regarding the budget, you've launched on appsumo like 5 years ago, so you're in business at least for 5 years, at this stage it would be expected that as a company you made the decisions to have the budget...
Either through MRR or investment, whatever. Lastly, not sure I understand what you're saying about meta threads. That's a completely different platform and I didn't even mention it š the point is to have threads on X, not to nice to a new platform. Also more "characters on X soon", the point is more characters will not equal a thread. Threads have distinct advantages, hence so they're popular
