Q: Posts Scheduling Limits

Hello Craig,

Can you confirm the following limits or correct if not true:

1. 1000 posts per day is a limit on the Workspace-level and not the whole Socialmonial account level

2. There's a Workspace-level limit of 1500 scheduled posts at any given time [limit of queue for all connected social profiles within the workspace]. I've read multiple times in your comments that there's no limit to scheduling posts. Will you be considering increasing this limit? Soon? As it means, if we have 30 profiles in a workspace, and say we are posting 5 times a day, we can schedule a maximum of 10 days at a given time.

Many thanks in advance.

A: Hello! To clarify, the 1,500 Queue limit at any one time ignores the profile count of the post. Even if you have 30 profiles selected for all posts, you can still load up 1,500 posts in the Queue at one time. If you are posting 5 times a day, that is 300 days of posts at one time. Regarding 1,000 posts per day sending limit, that is based on a per-profile basis, so for example, if you include 2 profiles in every post, you can only post 500 times a day with both profiles included. We are considering raising this limit but we don't guarantee that we will. Out of our 20,000 clients, we have like 2 or 3 that even come close to the limit so I wouldn't lose too much sleep about it. By the way, the Queue limit is for the overall account, not per workspace, however, the 1,000 posts sent per day limit is based on all workspaces combined (account level). If you show that you are a legit agency posting for different brands in different workspaces versus using multiple workspaces to get around our limits, we will likely make an exception.

Ok, understood. Usually, I would select 2 (or max 3 profiles) for the same post [will not be posting the same content across 30 social profiles] - so it will be at max 20 or 30 days of scheduling. It's still better than uploading every few days, but is it possible to increase this queue limit so that posts can be scheduled for longer periods?

And in the reply, you mentioned that
"By the way, the Queue limit is for the overall account, not per workspace, however, the 1,000 posts sent per day limit is based on all workspaces combined (account level). "
- Did you mean to say that the limit for the queue is on the workspace level, and 1000 posts is on the account level?

Or is the 1500 limit on the queue at the account level as well? If so, then for 90 profiles in 3 workspaces (considering the same post across every 2 profiles), it would be hardly 7 days of scheduled posts.

You said it best: "The limit for the queue is on the workspace level, and 1000 posts is on the account level". And we do plan to increase the Queue size after a few more code modernization updates were pushing through. We just had a major infrastructure overhaul, but still want to refactor more posting/queue code first.
