Absolutely worth the price and then some
I've been a food blogger for 11 years and it's my full-time career. I've used many of the social schedulers over the years: Buffer, CoSchedule, and SmarterQueue, to name a few. They all have pros and cons, but the biggest con for me was always the cost. At one point I was paying $80 per month with one of those mentioned because to truly streamline and automate the process, I had to keep upgrading. I stopped using schedulers altogether about a year ago and attempted to do it on my own (major hassle and time waster, imho).
Another of those three I mentioned came out with some recent upgrades and I was considering using them again. But again, the cost per month was too steep so I started looking into alternatives and what was currently being offered in terms of plans and pricing. That's when I found Sociamonials.
I was optimistic but skeptical since no one had been able to offer everything I need in one complete package. And while I can't say SM has everything I would want (Pinterest scheduling is the first thing to come to mind), I'm so happy I made this purchase. A one-time fee for a product I can use forever is almost too good to be true. No more steep monthly payments, huzzah!!
Full disclosure, I've only been using SM for less than a day. However, in that time, I've tested quite a few features and they've all worked well. I find the initial scheduling a bit clunky, as well as adding social accounts, but once I figured it out, it's quite simple. My posts went out as scheduled and everything looked perfect. This morning I did a test import two different times: once with a single post import and a second with about twenty. Everything imported perfectly, so now all I have to do is clean up my copy (my own choice to do it after import) and get them scheduled and ready for publishing. Then I'll do the remaining imports in chunks (personal preference not to do them all at once) to eventually bring in all 700 posts.
I haven't dug into the campaign portion yet but plan to do that once all of my posts are imported, assigned categories, and are set up the way I want them. And honestly, even if there wasn't a campaign option and I'd reached its limit of capabilities, it would still be well worth the cost.
The fact that there will likely only be more features added in the future makes me so incredibly thrilled to have this product for life. If you're on the fence, save yourself some headache and $ and just go for it.

May 9, 2024Wow, what a powerful review! Thank you for the feedback. Regarding Pinterest posting, we ran a poll on our Facebook Group and it looks like Zapier is the best way to add Pinterest posting until our app is approved by the folks at Pinterest. We should have that in January.
