Thanks for the feedback. We don't like this limitation either, but we haven't found a workaround yet. For now, it is true that you really need to have videos hosted somewhere that provides a .mp4 extension. The social networks can't seem to pull in videos any other way. We recommend a cheap hosting account, like the $1.99/mo NameCheap plan. You can drag all of your videos into their easy interface in one go.
