What are past projects, failures, or successes you’ve had in your career?

After earning my Master's degree in Physics, I spent three years in academia, securing multiple grants and attending numerous international conferences. Following this, I transitioned into business and founded a hackathon organization agency, which grew to generate $1M in annual revenue. Later, I ventured into a few less successful projects in the U.S. property tech sector, where we struggled to find sufficient market demand. Eventually, I went on to establish SocLeads, which has been a key focus.

What’s the origin of the idea for your product?

The idea for SocLeads originated back in 2019 when I was running my hackathon organization agency. At that time, we were looking for effective ways to find clients and stumbled upon cold email outreach. It quickly became our primary channel for attracting corporate clients, helping us achieve $1M in annual revenue. My passion for SocLeads stems from firsthand experience—knowing how powerful and scalable this method can be for businesses, especially when combined with automation and AI to maximize efficiency.

What problem is your product solving and how?

SocLeads solves the challenge of finding emails for effective cold outreach. It scrapes data from Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube — not just LinkedIn like most competitors. Wide platform support helps businesses reach broader audiences across multiple social networks, making SocLeads a more versatile and unique tool in the market.

What’s the #1 thing you’re looking to gain from the AppSumo campaign?

The #1 things I’m looking to gain from the AppSumo campaign are feedback, virality, and backlinks. Feedback will help refine the product, virality can drive organic growth, and backlinks will boost our SEO efforts, ensuring long-term visibility and reach.

What are your plans with the customers, cash, and learnings from the AppSumo campaign?

My main focus is to genuinely solve customer problems while using the revenue from the AppSumo campaign to fund further development according to our roadmap—since SocLeads is completely bootstrapped and has no external funding. I’ll also leverage the feedback from this campaign to continuously improve the product and ensure it meets the evolving needs of our users. If the campaign succeeds, the next step is to scale the platform, expand integrations, and enhance automation features to deliver even more value to our customers.

1. The product works best for finding leads in the United States, delivering optimal results in this region. It does support other countries, but the performance may be slightly less effective. Selecting a specific country for your search (except for Google Maps) does not guarantee that all results will be from that country.

2. To maximize results, we recommend using broad keywords such as "fitness," "coach," or "realtor," which tend to yield more leads. Keep in mind that for a single keyword, the number of results rarely exceeds 10,000.

3. If you’re targeting a global audience or niche-specific leads, strategic keyword selection will help ensure the best outcomes.

4. Google Maps scraping doesn’t provide emails by default. To scrape emails, choose the free "Scrape emails" feature. In this case, emails will be added if they are available on the website linked in Google Maps.
